KIBAKI; THE TRIBAL MASTER.

He was overwhelmingly elected with over 63% of the Kenyan votes. This will go down in history as the largest mandate that any candidate may not achieve in our tribalistic and polarized country. The famous Kibaki Tosha declaration by Raila and a united opposition ensured Moi did not have his way. Immediately Kibaki supporters threw mud at Moi and his aides including Sally Kosgei loosing her shoe and walking bare footed. Let us look at the positives and negatives of Kibaki regime.
Positives
• Infrastructure development the famous one being the uneconomical Thika Road
• Free primary education
• Budget growth from 250M to 1.5 trillion
• Boom of the Nairobi stock exchange

Negatives
• Kibaki institutionalized tribalism beyond the Kenyatta and Moi regimes. He allowed Francis Muthaura and Francis Kimemia to fill every slot in senior echelons of public service with people from the Mt Kenya Region. Kimunya is a poster child of tribalism filling all transport corporations jobs from his tribe only.
• Grand corruption including the Anglo-leasing, Free primary and triton scandals
• He stole elections in 2007 leading to massive killings and destruction of property in Kenyan history
• Invaded KTN and Standard Media group with the help of Atur brothers who were associates with his second family
• Rampant insecurity and wanton killings of people by alshabab and other illegal groups
• With the help of Kimemia, Gichangi, Karangi and other state agencies he helped to steal 2013 elections in favour of his tribesman Uhuru Kenyatta.

A brilliant economist with a master degree from the London school of Economics, Kibaki lost the opportunity to reconcile and unite the whole Nation. Kibaki is a worst tribalist in Kenya’s history. We shall soon be judging the illegal government led by Uhuru in the course of time. Let him prove Kibaki wrong by creating unity, prosperity and development.
