i said this the last couple years but morons are still bitching about it.. the grand national is the origional extreme sport.. its riders and horses endure 4 and something or other miles of pain sweat and tears to get to the finish line.. many horses fall every year.. one year i think there was only 6 finishers from 40 starting.. point is if a horse falls awkwardly and breaks its leg.. the humane thing to do is shoot it between the eyes.. the track is dangerous but the jockeys are proffessionals and the horses are the best jump horses of the year.. i mean last year sychronised ran the national and he was the cheltenham gold cup winner - he died but thats not the point.. point is they are bred to jump.. they are not a puppy or a kitten.. they are jump horses, all they know is jumping.. wish people would realize that instead of making the race safer.. at the rate they going it would be a "start.. 1 jump.. finish" and thats not a national.. it suppose to be the best race in the world of horse racing! make it dangerous or its not entertaining! why make an extreme sport safe? do rock climbers have safety nets to cushion them if they fall? no they have lovely sharp rocks.. why should we make horse racing safer... what so we have no more fatalities? well sorry rspca and bha but they fall break a leg.. they dead.. doesnt matter how tame the jumps get, they can break a leg running in a straight line.. leave the national alone and pull your heads out of each others arses.. point made..

2:30 silviniaco Conti, level above this field and would of ran well in the gold cup, jumps, stays, and has a classy turn off foot, Nicholls and Walsh double first 2 races
3:05 grandouet, really like this horse, people may disagree but I still think he would of won the champion hurdle, track perfect and ground, oioi
3:40 cloudy lane, knows how to win round here and tbh, this don't look a strong race at all, 11/1 e/w nap!
4:15 anquetta e/w 14/1! Like this horse alot and it looks well handicapped, has the odd hiccups jumping but ground is better, massive e/w shout
4:50 fago, was thought of as a massive chance for the arkle, didn't run in it which can only be a plus against a captain Conan that had a hard race, fancy this strong.
5:25 Easter day NAP! cab even back this e/w 8/1, think after the race tommorow we will all be saying fuxk me that was well handicapped, fancy it strong!

And just before I call it a night, here's the thoughts......
Imperial Commander is the best horse in the race as a former Gold Cup winner but that's why it's top weight. If its 16s it's a great each way bet.
Seabass never really got home last year so while it should get a place, unless its 12s or more its not really a sporting bet as something will probably frighten it or its jockey in that long run home from the last.
Sunnyhillboy on the other hand might just go off at a working mans price cause AP McCoy has chosen to ride Colbert Station. Beaten by the size a ma dick last year,granted a safe route it's surely got a great chance.
Ballabriggs should get round but place only bet.
Teaforthree was 2nd in The Welsh National so he should be there when many have cried enough. No fancy jockey on him so should get a decent price.
Cappa Bleu, Colbert Station, On His Own and Chicago Grey will all be on short lists cause of their trainers or jockeys but will be skinny prices as a consequence.
For a big price each way why not Always Waining. Horse has won the Topham three times (same course and fences as the national) or Balthazer King who's done well in the Cheltenham cross country race.
