Guess someone has to say it since her death has raised both camps of celebration and to simply show respect to a passing former prime minister.

She treated Scotland like a colony, and treating it's people like sub humans, her government also helped hide the paedo ring that was Saville and co, not to mention how she crushed the miners, so although I kinda agree about respecting people once they are gone......she broke alot of people/communities with her policies and the paedo part for me is enough, everyone says they hate paedos right? Well she helped cover up Jimmy Saville...........so if it was one of our kids? Would you still be showing her any respect?

I personally will also never ever......EVER!!!! forget working in my fathers shop as a kid and seeing grown men (miners) broken, jobless and defeated, their eyes said it all and like I said I can and never will forget what she did to mining communities............I lived through the time and saw the broken faces, communities destroyed and had she been the leader of Iraq or Syria etc..............well maybe we would have been invaded by another country sent to save us from a dictator..........just saying eh ;) It's all about if you were unlucky enough to have been part of a community that lost everything under her rule........so I say let people vent, rant and have their say..........she left a legacy and people will never forget either!

I am sorry for her family and friends and it is a pity she could not have lived longer and with all her faculties. Mrs Thatcher will be a great loss to her admirers. But I suppose the Tory Party will have mixed feelings, since it was the case that they got rid of her to prevent her fighting another election. And the death of 'Thatcherism' cannot come too soon, we are still working towards that objective, it infected the whole of the British political system and, unfortunately, it will probably never be completely eradicated.
