I'm personally not a fan of celebrating the death of an old lady but we have to remember for some people she is one of the most evil democratically elected politicians in world history.
The way she treated the working class in Britain with utter comtempt is exemplified by the brutality of the miner's strike and smashing the other trade unions leaving working class towns without any source of employment, or the city of Liverpool in that she argued for "managed decline" and let police of the hook for the death of 96 football fans at Hillsborough. She privatised utilities and industries handing over what working people had fought for for a generation (public ownership) to private companies letting the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Further a field the way she treated the nationalist community in Ireland was disgraceful, as well as her support for the fascist dictatorship in Chile and apartheid in South Africa.
I don't wanna seem too disrespectful as politics aside there is a family grieving out there, but just because she died her legacy shouldn't get this unjustified praise as we're still feeling the effects of it, and where was her respect for the millions of livelihoods she destroyed.
The only slight positive I can think of is with regard to her character. At least Maggie had an ideology she believed in and fought for it to the bitter end, unlike many of the middle of the road careerists in both parties today.

Our generation should feel more hatred towards Labour and Tony Blair with his boom and bust open door immigration policy. Good evening everyone. This is Carmen. Pretzel will not be joining us for the next few days. She has been admitted to the hospital. She was acting "off" this weekend and I was concerned so instead of waiting for our appointment later in the week I called the hospital yesterday and told them to expect us this morning. I took her out of her dorm today and gave her a quick examination. That is when I noticed that one of the lymph nodes in her leg was swollen. I knew that was an indication that something was wrong and it reaffirmed that I had made the right decision to bring her in. After further examination at the hospital they agreed that I had done the right thing. They took off her cast and discovered she had developed what is called a pressure sore on her ankle. Basically some of the skin has died due to lack of circulation where the cast was pressed up against the foot. The doctors and I are relieved that we caught it in the early stages. They said they plan on keeping her until Friday. During that time she will have daily bandage changes, topical treatment and since she is there anyways they are going to do the extra intensive physical therapy that they decided not to do last week. So in the end this is case of better safe than sorry. I am so glad I listened to my gut and brought her in.
Since Pretzel isn't going to be here for the next few days I might make some personal posts on here to fill the time and stay connected with all of you. I hope you guys don't mind. Thank you all for the well wishes.

The way in which we feel about ourselves translates in our behaviour, inadvertently influencing how others treat us. If you think of yourself as a sad, unhappy person – this will be reflected in how you act – therefore, it will directly influence the way in which people react to you.

However, if you think of yourself as a happy, smiley person – people will see you as a happy person and will therefore be positive and uplifting around you. Just like smiling, happiness is contagious – it has the domino effect on those around you.

So – if others are treating you badly, take a long hard look at how you are treating yourself. If you don’t like what you’re seeing, then you have your answer… Like this status if you are prepared to try this theory out for at least today – see how it goes, at the end of the day think the influence this change in attitude has had on your day.
