This is by 2006 passed out guy:) It was when we were in 12th, on a particular day PT period was scheduled for our section. And unfortunately or fortunately our PT mam was absent. We thought there was going 2 be no PT that day. But another PT mam came and took us to the so-called ground.
There she asked us to play coco. Playing coco was not new to us. But she said boys and girls should play together. We were a bit bewildered and asked if she was joking. She said she was damn serious and insisted us to play. We started and it took some time to get into the game. It was completely a new experience.
After the classes were over, we narrated the whole incident to other section guys and we could apparently see the jealous in their eyes. We really started giving a lot of built ups. And what more - we were the chosen heroes that day;)
What is incredible is it all happened in our very own prince school:) Any 2006 passed out here?;)

In case some parents didn't get a copy of my letter at the beginning of the season, I am reposting it here. Please read it carefully, as it contains important information.

Please try to get your child to practice and games on time. I know this can be difficult at times and impossible at other times, but it's really hard to conduct practice or get ready for a game when players continually show up late. If you know your child will be late or won't be able to make it to a practice or game, please let me know in advance if possible. If the kids do not practice, they do not get as much playing time as those who do (no exceptions). It will be hot, so we will have water for the girls. Please send them drinks as well.

Please let me know if you have a problem with me or something that is happening. Same holds true if your child isn't happy about something. I want to know if there is a problem right away.
Teamwork and developing friendships is an important part of any team sport. I always try to tell the kids how important it is for them to support each other and to always be positive towards their teammates. No negative attitudes will be permitted.
Competition is an important element of any sport and as kids grow they naturally become more competitive. I don't talk to the kids about "needing to win a game" or "how important it is that we win". I feel my role and that of the parents is helping the kids develop the ability to deal with competition in a healthy way. Effort and attitude is my focus. If we can achieve that, then chances are we'll win the number of games that we are capable of winning.
Dress code: Yes, I have a dress code. This is expected of the players and the coaches, so if you see something that doesn’t fit the code, let me know. There are no SHORT shorts, we all need a tan, but wear the short ones at home, not on my playing field. Don’t show up in a spaghetti strap that is going to show all, again, this is not tolerated. We are only out here for 1 ½ each time, dress appropriately and show respect.
Player Expectations
1) Have fun and always give your best effort.
2) I expect players to always show respect for the coaches, parents, and other players on the team.
3) Spend time outside of practice playing softball.
4) Be 110% committed this season.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I am available at 706-255-5604 most of the time.
I look forward to a GREAT and FUN season. WE have a fantastic group of girls and should go far.

One last comment: There are 14 players this year, and if you have ever coached, you know that is a lot for ONE team. There will be GREAT players sitting on the bench and I have to try to keep things fair. I will promise to do my best.
