FREEDOM:
I had a dream during the night of me standing before a class of students reciting the Gettysburg Address that I had learned over 60 plus years before.
A man who looked similar to Abraham Lincoln but without the beard was sitting in the class mouthing the words as I began. It so unnerved me I lost my train of thoughts and asked him to look the other way.
I began again but half way through it I stumbled badly. I apologized and then walked towards the front of the class and began to tell them about this man and his commitment to bring freedom and it cost him.
I told them they had gifts, talents and abilities too like Lincoln.
Jesus had come to give us even greater freedom and then the dream ended.
You and I [if] born again [Jesus lives inside us] are now absolutely free TO LOVE EVERYONE AS HE DID.
We are free from Satan's power to cause us to sin.
We are free to stand up and acknowledge JESUS IS ALIVE FOR HE LIVES IN ME AND WILL LIVE IN ANYONE WHO WILL SURRENDER TO HIM.
We are now more free than ever to stand up for Him when He is blasphemed by hateful folks who follow the devil.
We can be assured our freedom was given to us so we can help others also find their FREEDOM IN JESUS.

Since he stated this the words "Under God" were added. What most people fail to realize is that most religions have a God. Muslims have Allah. Jews have Jehovah. Hindus have Rama among others. Buddhists have their spiritual leader in Buddha. Even Wiccans have the God and Goddess (similar to the Yin and Yang in Taoism). In regards to the Pledge when we say Under God Americans are referring to whatever God they worship in respect to their religion.
A side note is that the original argument for the addition of Under God in the Pledge stems from the Gettysburg Address. In this address, Lincoln stated "that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom"

I believe, as long as no one is hurt by another's activities, everyone should be treated equal (that is not in the Constitution either - it's from Lincoln's Gettysburg Address).
