Off to Gettysburg for a long walk on a beautiful battlefield. Looking for some answers to " dreams and aspirations". Sure my day will find me up on Big Roundtop again this afternoon.

In twelve years have never had a bad day on the Gettysburg battlefield. Never will. Bad days are for people who have real jobs.

Had a great visit to the Gettysburg Battlefield National Park today. So much history to enjoy at this site. Did the self guided car tour for about 3 hours. A bit chilly weather wise, but an awesome take in nonetheless.

Boarding soon for Harrisburg. An exciting Historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania weekend awaits:

Open bar tonight at 0'Rourkes to reunite with my Gettysburg buds.

Saturday tour of Longstreet's Assault with esteemed guide Gary Kross.

Sunday tour at Antietam National Battlefield for Hooker vs Jackson at the bloody Cornfield.

Monday tour of Lockwood's Brigade at Gettysburg with LBG Stuart Dempsey.

Bus tour of Washington D.C. featuring photo opps of the famous cherry blossom trees there. Of course with the late Spring, the trees may still be dormant. D.C. is always fun though.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Your comments are making me well up, y'all.

I wish I could give everyone their very own Swirly Pan.

We may have to do a round robin bake off someday where I send a pan to someone, they bake something in it then mail the pan off to the next participant.

Bittersweet day. I just sold my rifle as part of my ongoing getting out of the hobby sale. So many memories attached to that piece, but now Melody Jackson Hunter is a proud new Enfield owner. Take good care of her, Mel!

On that note, anyone wanna buy a .44 Remington revolver?
