WEF 13 is over and I think about all My fellow horsemen. No where is there a harder working Group of People. The last week unfortunately fell on Easter this year. I want to reach out to all the Mothers and Fathers and gve them a little advice. Take it from a Man that has done this for more years then I care to admit.
Horse shows will always be there. You know who won't always be there ? Your Children and the experiences that they have growing up. I am telling You, those times that You miss with your children You will never get back.
Go on that cruise, take a week off, don't miss recitals or any other activity that You can possibly make an appearance to. Horseshows, customers and the horses are not going anywhere.
I have a wonderful relationship with My daughter. I am the lucky one. I missed all those things because I could not disappoint a customer or their children. All those years I was disappointing My child. We have worked very hard to regain the relationship that We did not have. Her Mother was very supportive and "Daddy" had to work to take care of Us was often said.
I regret all those times that I missed. I was selfish. Most of the people that I sacrificed those moments for are no longer in My life. They have moved on with their lives.
Don't bury You head in the sand. It is not OK.........Your children's experiences will come and go. Customers, Horses and Horseshows will always be there.....You may not get as lucky as I did. Nicole is 29 now and We still work on the feelings that she had as a young girl. As an adult she realizes I did My best. My best was not good enough as far as I am concerned.........You can do better !!!!!!!!

The cessation of the ELG Scheme does not affect the Deposit Guarantee Scheme. The DGS has no end date and monies up to the amounts indicated are protected at all times.
