The funny thing about the future is that currently, it is the future, in the future it will be the present, but then the present will be the past, and if we are to live in the present does that mean living in the past? Well no, because the past is the past and cannot be changed by thought alone, and as time travel is currently unavailable to anyone, thought is left as the only plausible (even though it's not quite plausible) way of achieving such. Other than that this present will be a past in the future and the future is a present to come, which also cannot be influenced by thought alone. Therefore my best supposition is that living in the present instead of thinking of the future will save time in the present so that when I'm in the future that will be the present then I won't be so gosh darn worn out by thinking about the present that was the future in the past.
