Ironicly there was me in another post going on about how gaming servers use peer to peer to make sure they have good speeds for such things.

I guess Aeria dont like using the torrent system for there game downloads.

FB games and the problems they cause us....

people just expect their game to work properly all the time and if it doesn't then who can blame em for wanting something that works better, if it was just an occasional problem then i could see waiting it out, but its constant and way to frustrating to qualify as fun... if we had some way of knowing when or IF it will ever end and get back to how it use to work then we could/would be patient but it only gets worse. i am also about at my whits end with it too. plp just want to have fun not be aggravated by a game. this is the time we want to unwind not get all wound up. and when someone makes a post calling people names like "cry baby" and "dumb ass" for voicing a legitimate complaint about the games.. well it doesn't help, that will only drive them further away. A solution is what people want!
when seeking the solution i am told that the amount of RAM makes a difference that you should have at least 4 MB Ram. then i am told that the graphics card makes a difference that it cant handle the graphics. i am also told that FB making changes to FB and Zinga making changes to games slows down the games and feeds. try this and try that (ccleaner etc).... i cant tell you all how frustrated i am, with a great graphic card and 6MB of RAM and i experience these same described problems all the time. I have suspected viruses and malware and even system failure. i majorly suspect this is a server issue... The servers are overloaded with players and depending on the time of day and activity, things either work well or not. I suspect this to be the case because after a certain hour in the evening i have no problem, same as before a certain hour in the morning. not sure if its actually an overload of people on the servers or the time the developers are working and disrupting our usage. but either way people are having problems way too much ... we all are getting pretty sick of this crap.
I use to play Shaiya it was allot of fun and didn't do this crap to ya, the developers added new servers all the time and gave us a choice as to which server we wanted to use. if one was too slow because of too many plp then we could switch to a different server. I am thinking about going back to Shaiya because it is less aggravating than any browser based game i have ever played. once it is downloaded, its on your computer and you only occasionally get an upgrade. when it does change you know because before you can load the game a prompt comes up on start-up and tells you it is downloading the changes, its not changing quietly in the background while you play causing all these issues. Aeria Ignite (or Aeria Games as it used to be called) offers this game and many more to play for free. extras can be purchased with real cash. but not necessary to have fun. the characters you make can walk around and you meet other plp and can talk to them and play along side of them for hours on end. even when i had a low level computer everything worked all the time. I can make my character jump, sit, walk, run and even dance. I can make it show emotions and ride a horse to travel the maps faster. we fight monsters and if you die you just come back and try again. well the more i talk about it the more i am convincing myself to go back to it. who wants to join me???
I will still keep the FB apps and continue to try, but if it does not improve soon i will quit playing altogether because its just not worth it. give us a real solution and not a band-aid and then we will be happy campers/farmers again.
