RENEWING LIFE WITH OUR COMMUNITY
Boredom is an uninvited guest which may come anytime.When it is visits us, we start dragging ourselves even in going to work. Doing ministry becomes an obligation. Coming to church no longer renews our souls. Work and worship, life and leadership degenerates into ritual of formalities. The sense of life's mystery is gone. Even if we are performing well we find no meaning in our accomplishment.
Modern people have lost the excitement to live amidst the the frenzy of activities. They are very busy with so many things but find no meaning in what they do. Even in success they find life boring. After the luster of acclamation and luminous celebration are gone, everything turns into darkness. They feel alone and lonely.
It is easy to get distracted by activities of the world. We are easily seduced to drink from the cup of offered to us in goblet of gold, not realizing that it is filled with abominable things and worldly allures (Rev. 17:3-4). What people talk endlessly and what they ate crazy about are not the stuff that will nurture our souls. But we've been fooled to drink into passionate madness of the world.
What Jesus considers meaningful, the world considers a foolishness. So those who don't share our passion to follow the way of Jesus resist and ridicule us. We try to stand our ground. We resist to compromise. How long? It gets lonely in the battlefield. Like the Psalmist our spirits become dry when unbelievers taunt us for our faith in God (42:3). We get discouraged and dried up in spirit that we become vulnerable to temptation.
Let's remember that our true value is not measured by our performance neither by our possession. God treasures us in just being ourselves without the trapping of success. It is interesting to know famous people want to get incognito so that they can become ordinary people, doing and exploring what they want without getting the attention and commotion of the crowd. One can be imprisoned by status and success.
Life can be exciting even in the ordinary if we become passionate about life. But we must protect our passion from LUST. Life is not all about EATING and DRINKING, SLEEPING and WORKING. The Kingdom of God is beyond the life here and now (Romans 14:17). The stuffs that we get involved in our earthly existence are important. However, they not the ULTIMATE reality to make life worthwhile and MEANINGFUL. TRUE life wells from within. It flows from the wellspring of the HEART(John 7:38). OK gotta retract the statement about my wife from earlier...with her now running her own bakery and me running the photography biz from home we don't get much time to play together now, but...she did buy me the new Army of TWO game but also got me BioShock Infinite AND pre ordered me Battlefield 4 with the do tags and in game content extras!! So with that said I believe I have the most kick ass wife in all the land...not only is she beautiful, but she gets me, she really just gets me. Love that gamer girl of mine!!

What are yalls feelings on pregnant females in the field? My BDE recently had a month long field problem. We were not in hard buildings where I was and we got to shower about once a week. Several pregnant females were out there, however I think most of them were at cantonment though one of our captains who is about 7 months was at my location. We had 3 snow storms while we were there and I myself fell twice. I was pretty shocked they were sent out; I myself had a miscarriage since being in the Army and my son was born with a birth defect so I guess I think about it more than most people do. What are your thoughts?
