Last week of C.Algebra. Battling through it has been a real test to see if I really am ready to lay some really ugly stuff to rest and step fully into the GRACE that has been planned for me. We all have our battles. Soul wounds that hold us back. Even in the shedding of this belief system that no longer serves me, I have at least found some humor...
Those who know me intimately know what a conundrum I can be. I grew up and live in the country, my main music preference is country, but I also listen to Chopin, Rachmaninov, and Kreisler, Dean Martin, the Dorsey Brothers, Josh Groban, Sinatra...and the list goes on. My first profession was as a fine dining chef and most nights I can out plan a dish out of a "Chopped" basket in about 90 seconds. I can plan a multi-course dinner with wine that is guaranteed to send you into food-gasms. I can also smoke, barbeque, and grill just as well or better than your favorite backyard bubba (and my fingernails look awesome in the process ;-)
I am both a girly girl and a Tom Boy all rolled up in to one a weekend in the city shopping, dining, and finding some live music can just be heaven. I read voraciously and have aspired since childhood to write a Pulitzer prize-winning novel. Along with studying to be a Psychologist, I am also studying complementary and alternative healing modalities. My facets and flaws make me one hell of an awesome diamond. And now... Just to make you all go O.o
