Minor spoiler alert: The contents of this post talk about Bioshock Infinite. It does not contain any actual details besides the affect the game had on me. That said, it still can spoil some parts of the game. In case you don't read onward and are interested in the game, I highly recommend you play it. It does not cost much other than time, I could not afford to buy it so I just redboxed it for a couple days and it will cost me in full 6 dollars. Anyways, yeah, play it ASAP.
Anyways...
I beat Bioshock Infinite tonight. The ending blew my mind. And I mean like literally blew it. I sat there for the last half hour with it with my jaw hanging open in constant shock/awe and when it finally cut to the credits my hands went numb and my controller fell to the ground. It managed to do something that no game, not even the first Bioshock, managed to do. It made me sit there and think about every moment of the game, and then sit and think even longer about how it can be applied to what goes on around me. It made me stay silent for 20 minutes, just thinking about life, where I am, what I have done, what I want to do. For the first time, I can say that a video game presented itself to be better than any book I have read. And that, I feel says a lot about it.
I guess the way to sum it up is Ken Levine did an unbelievable job on this game. He really tried to put his all into it and make a masterpiece, and it shows.
Again, if you have not already played it, I highly recommend you do.

Bioshock Infinite is easily the best Bioshock game. Probably one of my favorite games ever. Amazing story with plenty of twist. Great characters in Booker and Elizabeth. Good villian and one mind screw of an ending. It was freakin shocking. Amazing game.
