Those who read me regularly may have noticed that I have a grudge of sorts with the dogmatic scientific establishment.
Basically, I argue that many (=not all) scientists operate under a major (and outrageous in my view) assumption: we know better.
Better than the average Joe (they may have a point there ^_^), better than those who preceded us.
Uhhh... excuse me ??
Did some of those guys miss that Quantum Physics is starting to get oddly close to Buddhist teachings ?
That civilizations thousands of years old knew way more about the Universe than we did 100 years ago ?

With regards to The Zeitgeist Movement, which I still support because, let's face it, the solutions proposed are an obvious improvement over the current paradigm, my main discontentment is that it's an overly "left-brain" approach.

Believe it or not, the problems in our world today are a mere manifestation of our own INNER CONFLICTS.
I see many people waving "The Scientific Method" as if it's a sword that they plan to use to kill off external problems, when it's simply a Tool.
A very useful one... when properly applied. When kept on a leash.
To use an analogy Peter Joseph [ Official ] often employs, "If you want to stop the ants, you have to remove the spoiled food behind the fridge first".
'Finger-pointing', Judgements, Blames, Arrogance, Over-analysis, Dogmas, Separation and FEAR are a few of those "spoiled foods" we used to consume.
Once these patterns of behaviours (AKA habits) are outlined and recognized, they then become Choices that some keep on making.

You hear many folks "in" the movement use the famous quotes
"Become the Change you want to see in the World" &
"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them"...

Therefore I constructively and playfully challenge those using the quote to really turn all their assumptions and certainties into questions, and see how they hold up.
If it's "true", there's nothing to fear, right ?
And to really clean the Inside before worrying about the Outside.

Finally, let me humbly remind all of us that "Out-of-the-Box Thinking" requires a really sharp pair of OpenMinded, Box shredding scissors :-)

We all need - probably more than anything else - to restore balance.
The Heart ought to command the Brain, not the other way around.

Acceptance, Integration, Emergence, Intuition...
and thus Peace to all.
