Spring break 2013 has come to an end. Mark,Jerry, and I started it off with a few days in Gatlinburg and a few days in West Virginia with our family then ened it here at home. We had fun in Gatlinburg thanks to Mark getting a big job right before we left. We went to the Dixie Stampede and the Lumberjack Fued, walked around gatlinburg, hit a few shops, and just enjoyed being together. The only thing missing was my baby girl. She didnt want to go. The last 2 days we we there, it snowed. It was so BEAUTIFUL. Seeing the family for the first time in a few months in West Virginia was great. We went to the movies with my sis and bro Patty and Brian. We saw GI Joe in 3d, great movie. Although the whole week was great my favorite part was last night when we got home. Savanna Nicole finally was able to put a true smile on her beautiful face. She got the guy of her dreams back last night. Taylor. I am so happy things went the way she wanted them to. We ended spring break with 2 amazing church services and dinner. Could not have asked for a better spring break. That being said, this woman needs a vacation from her vacation.

How GI Joe was made: all the action scenes were shot and then given to the film editor in jan 2012. The editor, while drinking tequila on Dec 31st 2012, pieced together all the action shots and then sent it out for release in March 2013.

TACO & MOVIES
Young and young at heart are invited at attend a Taco and Movie Night in Blackwater on Friday April 5, 5pm – 9pm. This is a free event and will be held at the Hunter Street Sporting Complex. The Regional youth Week Initiative will also be announced at this event.
BIG SKATE DAY OUT (Anglicare organised event)
This free event will be hosted by Anglicare and facilitated by Drawing Boards Australia. It is open to all ages and includes a free BBQ.

LASER TAG
Laser Skirmish is the coolest and most exciting non-contact combat simulation sport. There are no projectiles, no paint and no bruises! There will be two sessions for this event with each session having 40 participants.
The sessions are 2 hrs in length, however we will allow up to 2.5hrs. All participants will be covered under the CQ laser skirmish insurance.
This is a FANCY DRESS laser tag event; think of the boys from the “Big Bang theory”, superman or Kath & Kim, etc. Participants will be in teams and there will be prizes for the “best dressed team”. Each participant will receive a sausage sizzle and drink at the end of the sessions.
