OK Cardinal Nation, how many Cardinal Openers have YOU attended at Busch, or Sportsman's Park? This year will be 25 for me if figure correctly. What is your most memorable St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day?

"The lessons of history, confirmed by the evidence immediately before me, show conclusively that continued dependence upon relief induces a spiritual disintegration fundamentally destructive to the national fiber. To dole our relief in this way is to administer a narcotic, a subtle destroyer of the human spirit. It is inimical to the dictates of a sound policy. It is in violation of the traditions of America. Work must be found for able-bodied but destitute workers... The Federal Government must and shall quit this business of relief."

Oh yea we are awesome cause we made to the Finals for the first time in 27 years we are beast we are the best in the Nation. We have only won twice in 80 and 86, but Kentucky has won eight, but Louisville is a beast and way better than Kentucky, just because Kentucky has one bad year. Just last year we were wanting to get rid of Pitino but now he is a great coach because we r finally doing good. The only thing we have on Kentucky is Robert Morris. Yay lets go tweety birds.

"Despite the fact that one of my Military Administrators briefly suspended Vanguard Newspaper in 1990, it did not strain my relationship with Uncle Sam. We have trudged on like two great Nigerians who understand the dynamics of political power and the vanity of human nature. Once again, I salute Uncle Sam." - Ibrahim Babangida
(What part of Babangida's resume makes him a great Nigerian? Ritual coup plotting? SAP? The destruction of our Universities? The destruction of the middle class? The destruction of merit and the consequent enthronement of settlement? The disappearance of the Gulf War oil windfall? The annulment of the most credible presidential election in our history? Dele Giwa? This underscores the significance of public memory. It must be constantly nurtured. From sponsoring seminars and University symposia to running his mouth constantly about democracy and good governance, this crook has shown a diabolical determination to rewrite history since he "stepped aside" in 1993. Perhaps he is banking on the fact that a large fragment - born in the 1980s and after - of our youthful population has no real memory of his iniquities? Where public memory is as fugacious as it is in Nigeria, criminals like Ibrahim Babangida will always try to smuggle themselves into nice little corners of history. Here he is trying to smuggle himself into the column of "great Nigerians" in broad daylight. Who do you blame? A criminal trying embezzle history 'before our very before? Those who provided the platform for him to declare himself a great Nigerian?)

Unemployment at 7.6%, no so fast... 500,000 people STOPPED looking last month alone. The real number is at least 7.9%! This country is still lead by fools (in both parties) who refuse to make real decisions (not drawn out what if BS paper cuts) that will improve the long term outlook for this nation. The President is a farce of a man and an embarrassment to the office.

The plurality seems to be the most powerful factor for this country. The Britishers to our peer countries all have done whatever it takes to decimate this to their favour. This evokes a lot of obscurity & distortion about our political history that has resulted in subsequent secrecy in our public policy in modern India that still dominates our government , politics & public finance to communication & public discourse .They are all twined together that any half hearted efforts will only result beyond nothing !The central government has taken important & untoward steps under the current prime minister to bring transparency by unearthing the tip of the iceberg of corruption that had piled over decades resulted in various scams coming out in the public domain in the last decades ,unearthing a urgent need for updating the current social development models. ALL this as part of the very duty of the government of by & for the people.
Unlike conflicts & corruption ... the virtues of transparency & plurality in all manifestations will bring the decimation of secrecy which otherwise the richest of this nation would like to preserve to perpetuate the inequality while at a time hallucinating philosophy within their horrified logic. They will come together with agendas that may not put India with an edge over others but may secure themselves to continue in their position suddenly finding themselves without the edge over peers once again resurfacing after long years post the first liberalization in 1991 .In other words the decimation of plurality will perpetuate the hive of secrecy of global corruption which India play a victim in the hands of her selected prodigals who perpetuate the Empire of inequality which secretly runs behind the grand financial hedges in the post cold war. As last attempt this parashakthi has lately resulted in the politics of acute & selective silence when it was most required to be heard showing posterity how impossible it is to impersonate the political will .
