Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is TRUE, whatever is NOBLE, whatever is RIGHT, whatever is PURE, whatever is LOVELY, whatever is ADMIRABLE--if anything is EXCELLENT or PRIDEWORTHY think about such things.
What occupies your thought life? Do you spend your days, the waking hours of your life worrying, fretting, desiring to have, fantasizing, taking offense or being angry? The world feeds us a constant diet of ‘dissatisfaction’. We live in an ‘entitled’ society without regard to responsibility and dominion as God created us in the beginning. We worship our ‘thought’ life. What we think “IS”. This was Eve’s problem. I’m sorry quite often that God didn’t say ‘don’t think’, just obey! But He didn’t and now we must choose everyday all day long, with everything that comes our way, to THINK rightly. We hold ‘our opinion’ as Gospel without regard to what God has said in His Word. We must find out God’s point view before we go off willy-nilly on our own ‘doing what is right in our own sight’ and ‘thinking for ourselves’ without regard to Gods’ reality.
Read and meditate on those things that God has written in His Word. He will guide and keep. Great promise and reward come with obedience.
