The April 5, 2013, issue of The Runner newspaper has been printed and is currently on its way to the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Delivery will start at the Gu Achi District Office in Santa Rosa around 9 a.m., drops will also be made in the Sells area around 10 a.m., and will be completed around 1 p.m. at San Xavier. Bundles will also be sent by Priority Mail to the Ajo and San Lucy sales points, and copies of The Runner are usually for sale the next day.
The retail cover price is $.50 per copy.

Two Oceans is now finished and it was not a good day for me at all with having a right calf strain during the race. nevertheless i decided to stay in the race and run easy to not make the strain a major injury.
I would like to say a very big thank you to all my friends and supporters for all the kind words of encouragement in the build up to the race and for supporting me, I am sorry I wasnt able to get the right result for you all but we have the big race of the year coming up, Comrades, and I will be at my best for this race and will definitely make you all proud and your support worthwhile.

I know the aboriginals think I hate them, but it's the opposite. I could not sit here and be so solid, unless I was motivated by love. I care a lot, and I am on a mission to pass onto them, what was passed onto me when I was recovering from some trauma. I will not give them room to use their blame game, and that's what they need the most. That's the narrative which keeps them stuck in nurturing negativity. Everything we think translates into our worlds, and reaches out exponentially, and the only way anything will change for them, is to rethink things, and create a new dialogue. I tell them they need to say "thanks" and be grateful, and I say it because that is the general trick in life for all of us. So, in short, I tell them it's not their turn to talk, it's their turn to listen, and to listen to US, who are real, who live here, have ancestors buried here, and our children's children's futures are here, and so no way should we be passing on this racist mistake we made in the 1982 Constitution, adding race based law for Quebec, and the aboriginals. We have to reopen the constitution, and make this country's laws equal for all. The aboriginals have to stop the blame game, and since they can't talk without bashing everyone with it, I am a brick wall, and will not let them. That is partly why they hate me so much, but that's ok, I can take it if it means even one of them grasping this life altering wisdom, and running with it. (Michele Tittler)

MEDIA ADVISORY: Driver's License check point
Dallas County, Texas - Deputies from the traffic division conducted a safety checkpoint Wednesday March 27, 2013 near I-20 and St. Augustine. The purpose of the operation was to verify that drivers' have their driver's license.
This type of operation is conducted about every quarter, depending on weather and other related conditions. Location is based on monthly accident related data--40 percent of drivers involved in an accident do not have a driver's license.
This operation did not involve any other matter.

(CNN) -- Recently I wrote about the many problems I've encountered while trying to become a runner -- from asthma to shin splints to plantar fasciitis.
Some of you supported the idea that overcoming obstacles is the right choice, while others suggested I listen to my body and give up the idea of running altogether.
As I've started to lead a healthier, more active life, I've tried to find as much information as possible related to health and fitness.
If you've ever tried to research any particular topic related to health, you've probably found what I did -- information overload! To add to the confusion, much of the information provides conflicting advice.
This seems to be true whether you're looking for nutritional recommendations, training programs, or even deciding what type of exercise equipment is best. The varied opinions, even from professional trainers and athletes, can leave your head spinning.
