Am I scarring my children for life? With all the egg hunts, Easter parties, etc. each of my children received a gallon-sized ziploc full of Easter candy. At Halloween we let the kids pick 10 pieces of candy and put the rest of their loot back into the bowl for the trick-or-treaters. But ten pieces of Easter candy could be like four pounds of candy, with the giant chocolate bunnies. So we got out the kitchen scale and let them each choose 8oz. of candy out of their bags. They can eat it all at once or ration it, it's up to them. The rest is going to work with Andy Deitrich. Genius or abuse?
