Q; Can you catch Mew at all in any Pokemon game?
If you can, then how?
A; Without Gameshark codes? Yep.
What you need to do, is start Pokemon yellow/red/blue up and play up until the nugget bridge in Cerulean city (Make sure to heal your Pokemon, you'll see why soon). Go to the patch of grass to the left of the bridge, and catch an Abra. DO NOT fight the trainer in that patch of grass. Just go up and down, not left or right. When you catch the Abra, go back up to the plateau and get the Pokeball which contains TM45 (thunder wave). Keep going right, and battle all the trainers up until the guy all the way down (the guy that has the two bushes separating him from the girl trainer, with the level 17 Slowpoke). After you battle the trainers besides that guy, you go back down to the patch of grass you caught the Abra in. (Save the game now in case you mess this part up, because it's pretty easy to mess up here). Keep going down in front of the trainer in the grass until you get to the space right above the edge of the water. When you get there, IMMEDIATELY press start, go to your Pokemon, select Abra, and teleport. If done properly, you'll see the trainer with the exclamation mark above his head. You'll be teleported back to the Cerulean city Pokemon center where you healed up before. Now, walk up the RIGHT side of the nugget bridge. There will be a spot where your menu comes up, and to your left, you'll see a trainer floating in the water. Press B, or if you're using an emulator, whatever button you have programmed to B, and Mew will show up on the bridge.
