BASIC LEAGUE ORGANIZATION

A. The Team -- A team consists of a minimum of four players, although it is wise to have at least six, and a maximum of seven. Each team will have a captain.

B. The Team Captain -- The Team Captain is an individual who is usually elected by fellow teammates. A team may elect a new Team Captain by a simple majority at any time. The Team captain must have a phone, and an email account. The Team Captain's duties include:

1. Verify that all team members have valid StarCraft 2 accounts and that each member is playing at the correct skill level of their ability.

2. Distribute important League information to all team members.

3. Responsible for having his team at the appointed place on time.

4. Responsible for his teams’ etiquette and sportsmanship during matches.

5. Responsible for following all rules and regulations.

6. Responsible for following all scorekeeping procedures and submitting scoresheets on time and in the proper location.

C. The Division-- A division consists of a number of teams, between four and eight, competing with each other on a set schedule. In some instances, a division may start with only four teams. However, a six team division is highly recommended.
D. Fees

Season Fee-- The SafeHouse Gaming SC2 League session dues are $10

· There are four sessions during a League year

o Spring-- April 23rd to July 2nd

o Summer -- July 16th to September 24th

o Fall-- October 8th to December 17th

o Winter-- January 8th to March 20th

· Session dues must be paid before any member can participate in any matches.

· Some events may overlap between sessions. In order to participate in these events, members must pay all session dues over the entire event period.

Weekly Fee-- There is a weekly fee of $16 per team

· The weekly league fee is due regardless of how many players are on the roster or how many players play during the match.

· The league weekly fee is only due when the team is scheduled to play.

House Fee-- There is a house fee of $5 per person.

· Members must pay house fees upon arrival.

· Non-members will pay a house fee of $8 upon arrival.

E. Scoring-- There is four individual matches for each League occasion. Matches are played head-to-head, one team member versus a designated opponent from the opposing team. Every individual match is worth one point. A team can win a maximum of four points on any given occasion. However, an extra point will be rewarded if the team pays all fees and submits all paperwork at the end of an occasion night. The points are totaled over the course of a schedule. Depending on the amount of teams in a League, the teams with the most points go into the Session Play-offs and are ranked accordingly. The winner of the Play-offs is the Division Champion for that Session.

F. Trophies and Awards -- Plaques, cash and possibly other awards will be awarded to each individual on the Division Championship Team for each Session. The Division Champion is the team that wins the play-offs, not the team with the most points at the end of the end of session.

Skill level and point cost;

Bronze League =2

Silver League=3

Gold League=4

Platinum=5

Diamond=6

Master and Grand Master=7

Each team can only use up to 17 points per night.

Unused points do not roll over into the next week.

If team can chooses to play only high cost players it will most likely have to forfeit their 4th match. this system allows better balanced teams.
