...Week !4 in the Twilight Zone Trial of Jodi Arias...angry-man prosecutor Juan Martinez continues his cross-examination cage-fight with angry-man-therapist Alyce LaViolette...I've been doing this for 35 years...I've covered hundreds of trials...and I can tell you Thursday was one of the weirdest days I have ever seen in an American court of law...the "it's not about me" ousted juror makes a grand return...calls for a mistrial...domestic violence expert LaViolette calls Jodi Arias a "battered" woman and Travis Alexander a "perpetrator"...and prosecutor Martinez channels Grumpy of the Seven Dwarfs...it was a hell of a day...and arguable the best day the defense has had in this unending trial...(granted the defense hasn't had many good days)...

I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Baroness Thatcher. There was no more potent force in the defense of freedom than this remarkable woman. Her unshakable belief in the universal appeal of liberty helped to steer the free world through treacherous times until communism was defeated and Europe emerged whole, free and a peace. I was honored to know her and to be inspired by her. Baroness Thatcher will be missed but generations will draw strength from the memory of her passion for freedom.
