@17forlife Looking forward a great afternoon. Say it quietly, but as impressive races as Cheltenham today.

@skysportsAlexH overrated rubbish. Not a patch on any over the big races at Cheltenham

@cbreadin cheltenham. shark fin soup. Fur coats and a good old clubbing of seal pups between races. Ahhhh the life of senseless fool

Is anyone else getting pissed off with the TV news going on and on and on about horses dying at the Grand National? None of us actually enjoys horses suffering fatal injuries and having to be euthanased. Horses die in other races, even on the flat, and in other sports and sometimes in their paddocks at home. The news people are so ignorant and they feed the ignorant public. 2 horses have been lost at this meeting so far: one of the Walsh's, ridden by Katie, was pulled up but later suffered a suspected heart attack yesterday, and today the Twiston-Davies' Little Josh fell and broke his shoulder. Both these horses were owned, trained and ridden by families who were devastated. Do the news people make this point? Of course not.
