The Day of Valor, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan, commemorates the heroism of Filipinos and American Soldiers when the Japanese occupied the Philippines during World War II. Major General Edward P. King, of the United States Army, was forced to surrender more than 76,000 Filipinos, Chinese and American soldiers to the Japanese at dawn on April 9, 1942. The soldiers were forced to take a 90-mile (about 145 kilometers) hike to Camp O’Donnell in San Fernando. Thousands of prisoners died during the hike (also known as the Bataan Death March) due to starvation, dehydration and diseases before they could reach the camp.
Despite the trials of defeat, the captured soldiers stood strong and heroes emerged from the event. The surrender of Bataan hastened the fall of Corregidor. However, without this stand, the Japanese might have quickly overrun all of the US bases in the Pacific. Bataan forced them to slow down, giving the allies valuable time to prepare for conflicts such as the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway, which followed closely thereafter. American and Filipino liberation forces eventually retook the Bataan peninsula on February 8, 1945.

The Day of Valor was a national observance until a Letter of Instruction No. 1087, dated on November 26, 1980, made “Araw ng Kagitingan” a national public holiday to honor the people who helped bring democracy and freedom in the Philippines during the World War II era. Executive Order No. 203, dated on June 30, 1987, further proclaimed April 9 as “Araw Ng Kagitingan” to pay tribute to the heroes of Bataan, Corregidor and Bessang

Tubbs Armory
A secret plot has been discovered by the federal government hidden within the plans of the McEueen Park project. According to secret documents obtained the Idaho government planned to hollow out areas of tubs hill to store weapons and possibly install a missile silo.
Recently the state has been on guard against any federal government regulations of the second amendment. The state has passed laws that would make it illegal for any state employee to enforce any federal law that requires them to confiscate weapons. Next year, Idaho will vote on making every adult citizen a member of its militia making illegal for the federal government to try and collect any weapons. To support the militia the state has devised a plan to store buy and store weapons in Tubbs Hill “just in case”.
Another development has been the firing of missiles from North Korea. President Obama has commissioned fourteen new missile defense structures in Alaska and California. However, as we learned from Red Dawn if North Korea were to attack it would be a large scale invasion that would include Spokane. This would place Coeur d’Alene on the front lines of the war.
Idaho being a forefront thinker in military tactics had a plan to quietly dig out enough space for an armory and a missile silo. This was to take place during the construction of McEueen park and is the reason why the cost went up by $4.2 million dollars.
We tried to get in contact with the representative from the Idaho National Guard but Captain April Fools was unavailable for comment.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Review
Hé
Well being a vet I still get military mail and since I don't watch tv and don't own one this is my only source of the inside scoop, I just read this article and it didn't scare me but it worried me because only less then 1% of our countries citizens have served in the military while 50% claim to know what it's like while 40% sit and ignore or hide from the thought of ever serving but now this, what if tomorrow this happened, you will have no place to hide, you are forced to enlist, here is the article : NKorea Clears Military for Nuke Strike on US
North Korea warned that its military has been cleared to attack the U.S. using "smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear" weapons, while the U.S. said it was strengthening protection in the region and seeking to defuse the situation. Read More: So how prepared are you to have bombs dropping around you, not talking about having or owning a gun, but how prepared are you to take on a military role if it came to it. If you haven't asked yourself this, you need to because if they get a Bomb here and it detonates and they may already have some here due to prior planning, no matter where it blows it will effect your comfort of living and many people will get hurt. Keep in mind this is not a war between military's when they fight they are coming for our land, the military will be there to protect but the target is US.
Goodmorning and live your life, you only get one so take down those barriers, be more open minded, and live, simply live!!
