The Medford/Jackson County Armory was built on S Pacific Hwy in 1954 and remodeled in 1991. Before that, the armory was located on Bartlett and Third in town. It was destroyed by fire in 1952. (I am working on getting some pictures of the old armory) Before the flea markets and Farmers Markets...it was the place for the Oregon National Guard Training. But growing up in Medford, the armory to our age group meant MUSIC and dancing!! Besides the dances at the school in the gym, the armory was our place to go to dance. Paul Revere and the Raiders played here as well as lots of other groups as well as many local bands when I was young. Who was YOUR favorite group?

New Day, trying to clean up my house, my cats love paper of all kinds, add that to a few boxes and we have the ultimate toy, all night last night Rages, Domino, and Jaiden, had a party running hitting the papers and sliding into the box, the purpose was to knock the one in the box out, I think it is some kind of a bowling game, they have a game of football they play, and basketball these games are much different, and everybody chooses up sides. This game is played every night with just the 3 of them, and we hear all kinds of things hitting the floor, they have broken a full set of wine glasses, So I have been playing Referee since 2 am, and they had papers scattered from one end of this house to the other, I want to know who gave them all of the paper, I did not know I had that much paper, old bills, news papers, magazines, you name it they found it. I will bet you can guess what we did today? They can have 3 boxes, and 5 magazines to play this game, the rest is going in the trash, They kept me busy getting there toys out of the trash, they were hiding them from me, when they finally understood I was throwing out their papers, we started fighting over the trash can. Jaiden is the oldest at 9 months so he is their leader, Rages and Domino are barely 3.5 months, and idolize their big brother. They will follow him everywhere he goes and do anything he wants them to do. But Jaiden thinks they are his babies and takes full and complete responsibility for them, right up to making sure they eat, before he does. It is quite the family we have here, they are all computer literate, love to push buttons just to see what will happen. Saucia only saw David on Camera for 6 months before he met him, but the minute David walked in the door, Saucia knew him, his only confusion was how he got out of the T.V. up stairs, and he did not care for long. They are the best of Friends, anywhere David goes Saucia is sure to follow! Well back to work for me! GOD BLESS EVERYBODY, and Enjoy your afternoon.
