I want to thank everyone who went to Pax East 2013 for making what was a stressful and crazy weekend very enjoyable and friendly. The exhibitors were all welcoming and the old Tdars were comforting. Thank again guys.

PAX EAST 2013 Report:

I'm back! Had lots of fun. I got to see all the Q&As with Mike and Jerry, got tons of Street Passes on my 3DS, ate some awesome 4-cheese tortellini, ate a not so awesome half-cooked pizza, and bought some cool souvenirs (Book 8 and 9 Penny Arcade comic collection, a complete set of Japanese dice, Legend of Zelda deck of cards, and a set of pins with Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, and Pikachu).

Just got home from a long but amazing weekend in Boston for PAX East 2013. Had an amazing time, met some really cool people, and checked out some awesome games, but now I am tired and will go back to my normal life of nothing but work... see you next year PAX!

The Western release of Phantasy Star Online 2, previously announced in July of last year, has been confirmed by SEGA to be officially delayed. Originally slated for an "early 2013" release in North America, PSO2 failed to make an appearance at this year's event at PAX East and there have been no official updates on its release until now.

"We don't have any specifics, but will update everyone as soon as there are more details to share," said a SEGA representative when asked about the delay.

The Japanese release of PSO2 continues to perform well, with the game recently launching on the Playstation Vita platform. As of February, there had reportedly been over 1.7 million player IDs registered for the service.

We will attempt to get further information on this delay and will post more details as they become available. In the meantime, be sure to check the PSO2 forums for the latest buzz and discussions surrounding Phantasy Star Online 2!

Lots of big Borderlands 2 news this past weekend at PAX East!

For starters, we announced that the first level cap increase for Borderlands 2 will be arriving for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 2, 2013 as part of the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack!

That same day, a new update for Borderlands 2 will add a third playthrough (Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode) and a variety of other tweaks including more ammo upgrades and backpack storage space.

But wait, there's more -- a new playable character, Krieg the Psycho, is coming to Borderlands 2 in May! Catch your first glimpse of Krieg in this reveal video and keep an eye here on GearboxSoftware.com for more details on all of the above!

Well Pax East 2013 has some pretty amazing annoucements from a new TCG based on warcraft, Duck Tales Remake and lots of cool new Borderlands Content including their 4th expansion which will be based on dungeons and dragons!

And today is the start of GDC - so expect lots of cool new annoucements from that as well.
