At the nightly poker game @ the Newie. Made final table. 3 4 off suit in the big blind. Checked. 5 6 7 with two clubs on the flop. Raised to 12k. Jordan goes all-in for 32k with A 8 of clubs, nut flush draw. I insta call with my flopped straight fir a total of 33k. 9 on turn gives him a higher straight. 9 on the river to rub it in. All in blind for 1k next hand with 7 2 off to finish my night. But that's the game lol

Update on poker run: the run will be May 18. You can ride any ATV or off road bike. The cost of $10 per rider that wants to precipitate in the actual game. We are looking into shirt designs. Cost of shirts will come soon. The run will start at Brandy Tims where you will register and end there when you get your last card. Registration Erroll open at 10 am. Yesterday's NPL West Monthly Final at Blacktown RSL saw a great turnout of players for the event. With an NPL Million Seat up for grabs it was always going to be a huge day of poker. The final table saw some huge hands. Nicky Lunga eliminated the first two players from the final table, with his pocket queens hitting quads against the jacks of Patto Matthew Paterson and the AK of Roy Spinks. From there Nicky rode his huge stack all the way to heads up against Efrim Rupac Araullo. The decisive hand heads up was massive. With the stacks almost even, and the board showing AA567 with three spades, Nicky bet the river, was raised by Efrim, Nicky shoved and was almost instacalled by Efrim who turned over 34 for a low straight. Nicky tabled 98 for the high straight, and considering there was flush and full house possibilities on the board it was incredibly brave poker by both players. The game was over a few hands later and Lunga had won his seat into the NPL Million. Well done to Efrim who has a seat in the upcoming NPL Quarterly Final as consolation along with some decent $$$. Special mentions to Rahul Kawatra, Peter De Haas and Charlie Hargreaves for their efforts yesterday in coming 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively. Thank you to all players who participated in the event. Look out for the next Monthly final, where nothing but cold hard cash is going to be up for grabs. Remember, every game you play with NPL West builds your start stack for these finals!
