Nebraska held is annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday and the star of the contest was a 7-year-old boy.
Jack Hoffman is a diehard Nebraska fan battling brain cancer. Last season, he formed a bond with Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead and has become an inspiration for the Huskers ever since.

So, during the fourth quarter of the spring game, Hoffman, who was dressed in a Nebraska uniform complete with an oversized helmet (no pads), lined up in the backfield, got the hand off and ran the ball in for a long touchdown.
It was the highlight of the game.

The Huskers met Hoffman in the end zone and lifted him in the air. He was then greeted by coaches as he returned to the sideline, including coach Bo Pelini, who gave Hoffman an "atta boy" and a helmet tap.
What an amazing moment for that young man and a fantastic gesture by Nebraska.
It’s getting a little dusty in here.

All-Ireland Colleges SAHC final
Dungarvan Colleges (Waterford) 1-12
Kilkenny CBS 1-7
DUNGARVAN COLLEGES WON the GAA All-Ireland senior Colleges senior hurling A championship for the very first time this afternoon, courtesy of a hard-fought victory over Kilkenny CBS at Semple Stadium.
Playing in their first Croke Cup decider, Dungarvan inflicted a second successive final defeat on Kilkenny CBS, in what was a repeat of last year’s quarter-final between the sides.
Kilkenny CBS played for the last 25 minutes of normal time – plus three extra added on for stoppages – with 14 players.
Full-back Evan Cody was dismissed for a wild swipe on Patrick Curran as Dungarvan’s superb forward bore down on goal in the 35th minute.
From the resultant penalty, Curran saw his effort saved by Kilkenny CBS defender Paddy Deegan.
Apart from that, Curran was the main threat for Dungarvan as the ace attacker finished with a personal tally of 0-9, including six points from placed balls.
Curran rattled over six points in the opening half as Dungarvan, playing against the breeze in sunny Thurles, opened up a 1-8 to 1-3 interval lead.
Ryan Donnelly, scorer of two goals in this year’s Harty Cup final, netted in the 15th minute as he somehow bundled the ball over the line despite being grounded.
Kilkenny CBS hit back with a goal of their own within two minutes, as Laurence Power’s mistake allowed Paddy Cahill to profit.
But Power redeemed himself in the second half with some assured handling and one cracking save to deny Kevin Kenny.
Dungarvan, who registered 14 wides in total (eight in the first half) had other goal chances of their own.
From Curran’s handpass, midfielder Cormac Curran was smothered by CBS goalkeeper Darragh Holohan four minutes from time.
The red card was the correct call by referee Shane Hourigan but Kilkenny CBS were unhappy that the Limerick whistler allowed a Tadhg Burke challenge on Kenny to go unpunished seven minutes from time.
After receiving lengthy treatment, Kenny sat out the remainder of the game.
Scorers for Dungarvan Colleges: Patrick Curran 0-9 (5f, 1 65), Ryan Donnelly 1-0, Colin Dunford 0-2, Michael Harney 0-1.
Scorers for Kilkenny CBS: Paddy Cahill 1-3 (0-3f), JP Treacy 0-2 (1 65), Kevin Kenny & Robbie Buckley 0-1 each.
