In terms of Modern Shooters, I've always like Battlefield games.
And specifically, Battlefield Bad Company 2.
They came out with Battlefield 3, and as gorgeous as people say it is. And as realistic it looks, I really can say that the over all game was a fucking disappointment.
Anyway.
I'm not excited at all for Battlefield 4.
It looks exactly the same as Battlefield 3 with an updated lighting engine.
The gameplay looks exactly the same with a bit more of a tolerable recoil spread within the weapons, which is always a nice thing to have. Battlefield 3's gunplay was sloppy and uncontrollable, especially on a console.
Bad Company 2 had it done well in the sense that the recoil was difficult to have, but completely tolerable. Meaning that your shoulder wasn't made of fucking jelly.
In contrast, Battlefield 3 also had no destruction. Only giant holes made by bullets.
Battlefield 4 showed destruction. Which was good.
Bad Company 2 had the best example of destruction.
And though Bf4 showed only 17 minutes of gameplay.
I don't approve of another installment coming out so soon.
