Next gen is looking nice but it seems that making next gen women isn't quite possible yet according to battlefield and various unreal4 engine tech demos. So far all next gen games only seem to be able to handle men, metal, neon lights and puddles. Suppose it takes a while for devs to get their heads around new technology and understand how to create women.

so after watching the 17min gameplay footage of Battlefield 4 i came to conclusion frostbite 3 is superior, the new frostbite engine indeed looks impressive and just overall better i can tell there more to frostbite 3 then information that just be released.

This is comming from someone who played and has Crysis 3, honestly i think crytek is no longer good, everything about crysis 3 reeks of bad optimization.

Rant: Crysis 3 was good graphically yes , but not awesome it does indeed use bad optimization, its more marketing to make people think there pc's are bad or slow , and its wrong these dev's do things on purpose that run horrid, they do so to make games feel like you need upgrade your hardware , and its just all wrong

crysis 2 was good example after they released the dx11 patch there was this under level of all maps of water that you cannot see that was tessellated heavily , on top of that flat objects that did not need tessellation had huge amounts tessellation, these are prime examples of why crytek is no longer considered ZOMG GRAPHICS!! anymore in my books , they just make bad optimization to trick you to think its demanding , same with crysis 1 even with current gen hardware its run like crap still.

and my answer to this: fps because it takes real skill, feels more like you're entrenched in the game, faster paced, and it allows the story to flow pretty smoothly.
