movie review gi joe retallation when the fake president kills all the gi joes except a few the joes must face a threat to destroying the world by cobra. the movie is fast paced great action and special effects with a surprise during the movie. lots of body bu not very much blood. there will be a 3rd one because cobra leader got away. they also have to free the real president and put the danger down. the movie is and average action movie for all people to see 3 woodys out of C till next time movie critic woody signing off.

So tonight I watched G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the one that just got banned in Pakistan. So what happens is that the president of Pakistan (who looks more or less like Ahmadinejad) gets assassinated. There is total anarchy in Pakistan and Americans are afraid that Pakistan's nukes might fall in the wrong hands. So they send in the G.I. Joe team to retrieve and disarm the nukes. They land on top of a building (with a Pakistani flag on it) in the middle of nowhere. Once they enter, you can see people dressed up in kameez shalwar and wearing paghris operating in the nuclear facility with AK47s. Yes, you guessed right ... the Americans kick some serious ass in there, kill everybody without getting a scratch and retrieve the nuclear warheads.
I wonder why they banned such a great piece of comedy in Pakistan. They deserve a laugh too ... or may be not?

I saw GI Joe and Tyler Perry's Temptation over the weekend.

GI Joe was pretty good. I don't know if I like it better than the first. For those who saw it please tell me who was taking care of the little girls.

As for Temptation, the worst damn movie I have ever seen. I've never gone to the theaters to see a Tyler Perry movie. The trailers were pretty good. There was maybe one redeeming quality of the movie, maybe. I love "The Family That Preys;" excellent movie, excellent cast. I'm not bashing Tyler Perry, I just think he needs to stop spoon feeding people nonsense, and I need people to recognize when they are being fed nonsense.

watched GI Joe tonight....few movies can truly touch the heart,mind , and soul the way this movie did, if by touching you mean implanting a bomb of boredom and cheese into your veins so great , that you feel as if you are being agonized by every action packed millisecond you are alive then yes. This movie was very touching , in fact so touching it was inappropriate. The cinematography was mind blowingly nauseating by the shear amount of cuts. And to make the rest of this review short, Direction..Atrocious, Acting...pitiful, and the 130,000,000 spent on the movie ...unforgivable. In the words of the immortal Roger Ebert "Thumbs down"
