What an awesome day at Woodville Playgroup today - 24 children, moon hopper races, mini golf(pre-school style), indoor bowls and several board games to keep everyone interested. Every one had a ball!

Crops are looking really good this morning. Harvest time in about 3 to 4 weeks. Corn seed came today. I will swap over to the peanut plates and mix The corn in the hopper with the peas. The deed will be done then. As soon as we get grain in and cleaned, we will start grinding rye flour.

Should the corn do well will grind our signature blue / white Cherokee corn meal in the late summer and fall, just in time for stew and soup season.
