HOT TOPIC: The Ku Klux Klan will rally Saturday morning in downtown Memphis and MPD Director Toney Armstrong says his department is ready.
Everyone who enters the permitted rally zones on Saturday will have to go through a check-point and metal detector.
Police will keep the klan and other protesters separate, and Director Armstrong says no violence of any sort will be tolerated.
Armstrong also says the KKK will be bussed to the rally point on a city bus to avoid the risk of any confrontation.
