This is my take on the GOV'T BUYING UP ALL THE GUNS & AMMO deal.
Many ppl will say DHS is buying billions of rounds in preparation of civil war. I don't exclude that possibility.
However, if the gov't wants to take your guns, without providing constitutional legislation in support, a very clever way to do so would be by making it financially unfeasible to own or buy guns or ammo.
How do they do this? In a similar way De Beers maintains virtually an international monopoly on diamonds which then allows them to hoard them driving up the value on nearly worthless shiny pebbles.
If the gov't offers a HUGE contract on ammo the manufactures won't turn down the business. If the gov't gains control of the entire ammunition market, they can easily drive up the price making it financially unfeasible for civilians to buy it. Gun control without a single piece of legislation my friends. Just my take on it. Your thoughts.

Stacy: Our poor baby is not doing to good this morning. He has been in pain since 9:00. We have given him pain meds but nothing is working yet. He keeps crying and moaning. His eyes are open but not focusing on anything. I wish they would hurry up and take him to surgery. We still don't have a time. I hate hate hate watching him cry out in pain. I have tried holding him, rubbing his legs and feet, leaving him alone, putting him in his wheelchair. Nothing is making him feel better today. I hope this surgery is the answer to our prayers. there is an ultra right wing group out there generating really bigoted crap - first it was a fake "promotion" of Canadian soldiers that stated that "Our Boys" are not fighting and dying so that so some foreigners can "wear towels on their heads" while getting jobs at the RCMP.

The next one was the bogus comparison between prisons and old age homes that claim to support senior citizens in old age homes by comparing them
to people in prisons. It pays no attention to the fact that the reason that prisons are expensive is because of the security that costs so much money.

now there is one that complains that refugees have wonderful benefits because we are forcing seniors that live below the poverty line.

These are snide and manipulative. They take an issue which is a sincere concern - compare it to whatever bias they are trying to promote. Throw in phrases like "this is really sad (or disgusting)" and hope that people will share their diatribe on their walls.

Sadly, a lot of people do.
