Funny how nick names develop over the years. My given name is James, but most of the people that call me that are relatives. When I was in school, from the 2nd grade on, I was know as Packy, as I got older, I prefer to be called Jim, from about 11 grade on until now. People I work with, call me Bubba. Reason they call me bubba, is because that is what I call everyone, and they all think I am a Hillbilly. Yes I was born in oklahoma, but, I was raised in San Diego. I guess my "Okie" parents rubbed off on me more then I thought :) :)
