Stole this from Sarah's post on the page so that it is front and center since it's such a great write up.

Two years ago (first game on 4/12/11), ECS FC debuted their first coed team- indoor at the SODO Arena Sports. We lost a lot of games, but with our focus on player development, improving fitness, and having a good time we quickly started gelling as a team and started to score some goals. Not a lot of goals, but we got a few. Eventually, we even won a few games!
Some women who had never played soccer before came out to join the team- Julia Scherzinger, Nisha Miles, and Theresa Daniel- and when they got their first ever goals, we often had the opposing teams celebrating with us.
Over the seasons, we have suffered some really awful defeats, won some very close and rewarding games, seen some gnarly injuries, and drank a lot of post-game beer.
But we've also grown a lot! After much team discussion, we've decided to split our roster in two to allow more playing time and more availability for players from the women's team and the GSSL teams to join our ranks.
Tonight, we debut Brougham ECS FC and King St. ECS FC as two teams ready to watch and support each other each week (Arena Sports agreed to sync our schedules!), and commiserate or celebrate with beers after the games.
Thanks to all our brave new players who pick up the indoor game quickly (Courteney, that's you!), and our fans and returners who have joined or re-joined the team. Especially, thanks to Anthony De Simone for keeping us organized, in line, and in good spirits.
Come see us play tonight at 8:10 and 9 pm at Arena Sports Magnuson! We're all looking forward to the derby later in the season as well :)

Attention Full Bloom players...Got a question....Is anyone else having a problem playing because everytime I try and open up the game all I get is the maximize experience box...I can accept and send gifts but thats all. Weekend Team Analysis 4/6 4/7 4-2 & 5-1 loss

Defense is more important than Offense. After we defend and get the ball back then we attack as a team. If we loose the ball we get it back as a team.

Defenders will work harder in pushing up field when we have ball. outside defenders do not stop at center line go as far up as they can and be in the attack. Defenders must take ball and pass in 2 seconds do not dribble the ball.

Midfielders They are not getting far enough back to defend they must help up defend. When we are attacking the must pass the ball quickly and our middle midfielders must control the game by being in the middle of the field and making fast passes and long passes. also get in the goal box ASAP and move around shoot if you have shot. do not slowly jog back and not help defenders. Our biggest problem is the midfleld. Stop doing what you what do what the team needs. Do what you are told to do. When we are loosing 5-1 we do not need our mid fielders trying to score first we must stop the other team. stop putting your head down and trying to get past one player. do a wall pass or just pass and move up field to get the ball back. get open when you do not have the ball.

Forwards, Same as the midfields play as a team we can not depend on one person to score play as a team think about scoring when you are close enough to take a shot. Do not shot from 30 yards away and waste a good drive keep working pass and move.

Your parents need to bring you to the games and practice on time. Make sure you are ready in time and dont wait till the last minute to find your uniform. get a soccer bag. Players you will be asked if you seen this post.
