This week the Dow Jones industrial average and the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index hit new highs. The S & P gained 10% in the first quarter. The market is showing an annualized return of 40%. This bull market began in March, 2009 two months after Obama took office and started the comeback from the worst market performance in history during the last administration. So the question is whether the Republicans will admit they were wrong and stop slandering this president with the socialist label now that the temples of capitalism have affirmed his economic policies. I doubt it but it is fun to say I told you so.

For those of you freaking out over the budget being presented by President Obama, relax. He is playing a long game with 2014 the goal so he can get things done. When you think Republican the one word that describes them is "unreasonable". He put a budget out there fully aware they would not accept it even though it has plenty for them to like. They will appear yet more unreasonable. A good mind set for 2014. Add the rest of their positions and they will create a very favorable climate for Democrats next November.

There were 519 chapters in Dragonball (the manga, which comprises both Dragonball and Dragonball Z anime) before it ended, but Bleach and Naruto have both surpassed it in number of chapters and still aren't finished. Bleach is clocking in at 532 and Naruto at 626 chapters as of right now, with both being "on their final arc"... Which means expect another 100 or so chapters at least, I guess. Anyone that says "Drag-On Ball" really hasn't read either one of these. It seems downright economical in it's usage of scenes by comparison.
And, yes, I know One Piece is clocking in at 704 chapters right now, but the difference between it and the other two is that the story has only stalled once or twice, but has mainly kept a fairly forward progression with the story, unlike the bogged down, over detailed and dragged out storyboard-esque fight scenes from both Naruto and Bleach. Also of note, if you re-read all three series (yeah, right), you'll notice that Bleach and Naruto both derail into almost completely different manga after a certain point (post-Soul Society and Sasuke Retrieval arcs, which were ironically published around the same time in Shonen Jump (Japan)) and frequently make use of the 11th Hour Power-up trope.
TL;DR: Naruto and Bleach are making Dragonball look short and economical thanks to having hacks as authors.

well here we are again, spending another weekenyd at Sunnyside. I am going to be here at least until Wed probably much longer this time. The surgery seemed pretty cut and dry but apparently when the surgeons got into my foot they got a curve ball tossed at them. The infection in my foot has traveled in deep and has gone down through the heal and up my leg. One surgery has been done to clean out the dead tissue and the infected bone. Now we wait for pathology to come back about the infection status of the bone , get my immune system built up with a lovely IV cocktail. On Monday there will be another surgery to finish cleaning out the damaged and dead tissue and if needed, bone. Then a decision will be made as to whether I will lose the rest of the toes from that foot and a long bone or two of the foot, or if I will lose the foot all together.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers (I don't care which name you choose to address God as, I believe in the power of prayer) and I thank everyone for their support. Kit, thank you--there are few ppl who can reach me when I am in that state, I do not know what I would do without you and Jes.

He has been a trouper through all of this these last 2 months, not only taking care of me, but taking care of our home and family after working all day long. He has been nothing but kind and loving to me, and has *(finally) convinced me that he is where he wants to be and who he wants to be with. He went out today and used his work bonus that he so deserved and bought a lap top so that I could be online at the hospital. With the Kindle I am not able to do a lot of things including keep in chat with my friends and family. He is always thinking of what he can do to help me be the most comfortable and I love him with all that I am.
