If you want to see less government spending on social insurance programs, how about:
1) Not wrecking the global economy and losing 22 trillion of our nation's wealth on reckless bets,
2) Insisting on living wages,
3) Creating an economy that places inherent value on human labor over pure capital,
4) Investing in education from early childhood to job training for career changes after layoffs,
5) Not allowing the healthcare industry lobbyists to write the laws that lead to extortionist prices, medical bankruptcies and illness,

Correction: Earlier I stated the relationship of Jesus' to Mary and Miriam, and that actually should read Martha instead.
Strange to note though, this is the 2nd time in the last 4 years when I have been inspired to write, I have used Miriam's name in place of Martha. I have no idea why, because as we all know Miriam was the sister of Moses and Aaron.
Not having a genealogy tree tracing Miriam forward and Martha back is only conjecture on my part, since men are recognized much more in the Bible than women, for whatever reason.
However what is strange to note as I write this, the flow of words seems so natural, much like when one is inspired through experience. And this is nothing I have ever experienced before, trust me when I make this claim; that is a true statement.
However when Jesus and the three disciples met on the Mount of Transfiguration with Moses and Elijah, I am just wondering if there was not a connection between the Miriam - Martha - Moses line?
Oh well, sorry for the confusion, but I just find it odd this is the 2nd time I have done that in a few years times with those same two women.
Guys, you need to trust me that women are VERY IMPORTANT in the grand scheme, because it is always the nurturing of the women who have seen men, such as Moses and Jesus through the toughest times of their life. When Moses was discarded into the bulrushes it was his sister who assured his safety until he was claimed by the Queen as her adoptive child.
A decree of death to the first born male turned out to be providential to the nation of Israel.
Once again the decree of the death of the first born male in the name of Jesus Christ, turned out to be providential for the rest of the world.
God is Great! He knows what He is doing and who He utilizes and when.
Very impressive.

I take my eyes off man, and place them on Jesus.
Because His word means more than man's doctrine. I would like to think I bring His word through Scripture ALIVE as it was intended, for every man, woman and child no matter the culture.
Because unless we understand and utilize His words and meanings, with illustrations and positivity's; then all we are left with is doctrine.
