#198.
"Friends , my juniors and Respected Seniors:

Today I saw this page on facebook and I felt like speaking my heart out. There are lots of emotions I want to share. There are things I want to clarify everyone. There is some thing which I feel guilty and want to confess anonymously.

If you think you would have been in better position if you had a good schooling. If you think you could have excelled your peers in college and workplaces if you had more resources during your school times. If you think belonging from small school and town has anything to do with your success in future then I must tell you , You are blaming .

You all dont realize what our school has given us. Today When I look back I feel so proud and lucky that I landed up in that school. Think: Had you been in a convent school, would you ever learn those mantras and japs. you would have missed that purity and essence of religion ;smell of burning incense sticks ,sandal on forehead, prasad. In which school would you find such unity ,such religious sentiments, Brothers Schools makes u educated but our school made us gentlemen. Taught us what religion is. Taught us to be true Indian.

Swami vivekanand said once ""Jis din ye desh apni sanskriti ko bhool jaega , iske naash ko koi nahi taal sakta hai. ""

Its not just about culture . Our school had so many freedoms. We didnt have to dress up like dogs wearing ties . Rules were made and broken to comfort us. In which school teacher sits among the students during lunch times to have casual gossips. That candid talking with teachers , friends everyone on the campus. We celebrated diwali bursting crackers during classes. WE ALL ENJOYED OUR CHILDHOOD . Sab din rules and regulations se bandh ke rahoge toh life ke maje kab loge.

Now talking about infrastructure and teachers. I agree with you all we had less resources No good labs. No quality teachers. No proper bus service.Everything accepted. But think once : With whatever resources they had , didnt they try their best to educate us. I am saying this cuz I remember when I got less marks in Social science paper,.. Sushma mam took the pain to stay afterschool to clarify my doubts. You wont get such dedicated attention anywhere no matter how costly school you study.( I did my +2 from DPS Bokaro thats why i am speaking this.) . Those teachers I respect them. Hath faila ke maango ek baar ""Sir/mam ye dikkat hai...."" humesha Help karne ke liye ready milenge. JK sir se ek bar puche doubt , 4 week bad hmse mile aur puche doubt clear ho gya na tmhara. Even i had forgot that doubt bt he remembered it. I am not saying I was very special/bright student so i got attention. I just want to say I always asked them for help and I always got it. They are always ready to help you. JK Sir toh kitne ke guardians ko jante the. Unke ghar jake unse problems puchte the. Bahar niklo ke dekho itna dedication kahin nahi milega. To Juniors , all you need is to ask and you will be surprised to see the returns.

Lastly I would like to say about my guilt. I was asked by senior teachers and super seniors to teach +2 students of our school. I have tried my best to help them and everytime I failed. I feel very guilty inside. I wish I could spare some time and give something back to my school which gave so much to me.

Rodney Wine and I met at the beginning of our senior year in Ashland, OR, 1964, and we became best friends immediately. Within a year of finishing high school, we had gone our separate ways, and though we never lived in the same town again, we remained good friends. In many ways, we were very different and lived very different lives. For one thing, he was single most of his adult life, while I was just the opposite. But, our friendship was not based upon shared or even common experiences, but on sharing insights and lessons learned. He was honest, candid and non-judgmental, and our differences made our conversations interesting and worthwhile. I talked to him via Skype a couple days before he passed away, and his calm acceptance of his condition impressed me. He was a unique and valued friend and I miss him already. But I will see him again in heaven.

Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray.
- James 5:13

As James writes, from his pastor's heart, to the people of God, his entire letter is full of practical instruction and direct admonition. He does not have a flowery style or a theoretical bent; he is interested only in getting clear, candid counsel into the hands and hearts of believers.

And when he comes to the matter of affliction -- gut-wrenching, spirit-pounding, heart-crushing affliction -- this practical pastor gives his guidance in only three words: let him pray.

"Is that it?" we might ask. What about formulating an exit strategy? What about checking all our options for circumventing the pain? What about gathering a support group to cheer us up and cheer us on? The greatest therapy, the surest solution, the sweetest healing that we will find, James says, is in fervent and honest and faith-full conversation with God.

James is not suggesting a momentary, fleeting mention of our trial -- perhaps in the middle of blessing our breakfast food -- as the answer to affliction. The verb he uses is in the present tense: let him, in other words, continually be praying.

Perhaps you know what it is like to be so pressed by a sorrow or pain or trial that you pray, not only as you breath, but in order to be able to keep on breathing. There are times when God's people truly find Him their only source of strength, of life, of purpose, and of joy. They pray, not because they have to, but because they can't not pray.

Whether your affliction is earth-shattering or hardly-worth-mentioning, take your trial to God in prayer. And out of the fountain of close communion with your Father, will flow the calming, refreshing, restoring waters of spiritual renewal
