good morning comrades .the sun has come out for todays GRAND NATIONAL ,which will be watched all over the world by nearly 60 million people .a fantastic test of horses equine ability and courage ridden by brave and fearless men and women .two weeks ago after cheltenham one young man was left paralysed for life ,he is not complaining he new the risks .so good luck and come back safely to all .enjoy the race shipmates

The only time I ever hear people protesting against Horse Racing is when the Grand National is on, I'm not particularly a fan of it but if it bothers you that much at least have some conviction about it instead of only mentioning when its easy and highly publicised.

The seven-year-old will prefer this better ground, while the less undulating track should also suit him. He has been raised from a mark of 108 to 137 this season and there may still be more to come from him. This is a very open race with any number of dangers, but Loch Ba will love the track and good ground. Andrew Thornton is a good choice of rider for him.
Battle Group, who hacked up over hurdles on Thursday, has conditions to suit him again here over fences. He sets the marker. Cantlow is
progressing well but it’s a concern that he was withdrawn at the start from his intended outing at Cheltenham after bleeding from the nose. Opening Batsman is up 8lb for winning the Racing Plus Chase.
