FIGHT THE DEVIL LIKE A DEVIL
Do you understand how many times the devil has been defeated, he remained focus in pursuing you? The first defeat he suffered in the hands of angels, he left heaven to earth. And then all the saints who lived before Jesus Christ defeated him, yet he stood up to fight. At Calvary Christ defeated him, yet he is roaring about to seek whom to devour. If we can fight the devil like a devil, there won't be a left over for him to fight back.

This means using his instrument of war to engage to defeat him.

Its was not a curse for Christ to instruct us to be wise like serpent, because only the wiseness of serpent can rule over serpents and the serpents alike demons.

The greatest instrument the devil uses to fight Gods children is the wisdom of serpent and the word of lies. But many think the devil depend on using fears, he can only use fear to figh you when he had failed with both wisdom and lies.

Remembering the incident in the Garden of Eden between the serpent and mankind, you will desire to truly want to be even wiser than the serpent, because this is the genesis to all temptation and defeat we are suffering from the hands of the devil and his cohorts.

Lies is a weapon the devil uses. You will be presented with something that look like the truth, but its a twist to the truth to destabilize you from gaining access to the original truth and then you become helpless.

Please use the word of God to look through every word before you settle with it. Sometime the devil bring us false dreams to make us think he is still there, but rebuke him always.

Fear is an opposite of confidence, you could be confident in yourself or through other means you find help, whether in God or in doing anything else, but fear is not being confidence in something. The devil may not always use fear, but watch out for false wisdom and lies.

You will never be defeated in Jesus might name, amen.

The ‘office’ is big but the occupant is small. That is the way it ought to be, because the office came before the person. The office of the president of the United States for example, is set up to protect, honour and preserve anyone that has been elected into the office. So upon the end of the elected person’s term, the ‘office’ still holds the power till a person, who now has the given rights to uphold the power through his decisions, fills it again. So while in office, the president can take the country to war, but when the same person leaves the ‘office’ he does not have the same privilege. Unfortunately, this same principle is not practised in the church, but for the Catholic Church. I am no longer a Catholic, but even though I have my qualms with Catholicism, I totally respect a lot of their policies because they are biblical. For instance, the fact that no Catholic priest owns his own church or controls the offerings collected from the same, and can be moved to a different parish at any given time, is rather honourable. Also the pope, the highest ranking Catholic, could be picked from any class of people and does not have to be the last pope’s son or relative. I digress a bit to prove a point. The pope leaves nothing relating to the church, to his children or wife (he has none) he also does not determine, how he will travel, what he will wear, or where he would live, they come with the ‘office’ and as we have seen in recent times, the last pope resigned on his own, because he felt that he was not able to uphold the responsibilities of the ‘office’ any longer; a move that any reasonable human has to commend because unlike other ‘offices’, this one has ‘death’ as the only end determinant. So what am I trying to say? Glad you asked…why do we have Pentecostal leaders that are bigger than the ‘offices’ they’ve been called into? They have larger than life personas and will do everything possible to stay in the office even if men have made them demigods…hmm, if you are the leader of a church and it grows to millions of members and they now lick your dirty plates, tug at your suits, crawl where you’ve walked, see you as their earthly, spiritual and heavenly father, will kill for you, see no wrong in you, will honour you before their family members, even before GOD, buy you jets, gifts, cars beyond what an individual should have, fund any project you suggest, give you all their money at the risk of losing their homes, read your daily writings instead of the bible, buy more of your CDs/DVDs than the bible, quote you instead of JESUS, worship you and more…and this is not something you are unaware of, you know it so well, then why don’t you do the honourable thing and resign? Step down form the 'office' and move on, if asked your reason for leaving, say the congregation tried to turn you into JESUS and you are not having any part of it! Trust me, it will change the way they treat your successor and other leaders and you will go down in history as the leader who did the right thing. Yeah yeah, I know, I am just saying my bit, most of them love the ‘office’ more than they love GOD and would say, KDL, you are a joker…≈KDL®™©2013 #hopinthesejokesareseriouslyleadingthemisled
