Robert has a way of presenting that holds your interest through humor and engaging his audience to want more from him. He is one of the better speakers I have listened to in awhile. His knowledge in the field is invaluable and thank you Robert for informing us of simple little tricks in marketing that will advance our sales in real estate. 2013 Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation:
Greeley is joining cities across the country in asking residents to make a commitment to conserve water and cut pollution by taking part in a national contest aimed at drastically slashing water and energy use across the nation — and in return residents can win a new Toyota Prius Hybrid, water saving fixtures, and hundreds of other prizes. Mayor Tom Norton is encouraging Greeley residents to conserve water, save energy, and reduce pollution on behalf of Greeley at www.mywaterpledge.com throughout the month of April.
Last year, the City of Greeley was one of the winning cities in National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation. Greeley was the winning city in the Western region among cities with a population over 100,000.
The Wyland Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation is a non-profit national community service competition developed by the Wyland Foundation to see which cities can best inspire residents to make a series of informative through easy-to-use online pledges to reduce water and energy usage during the month of April.
Cities are divided into four regions (West, Midwest, South and Northeast) and categorized by population (5,000-30,000 residents, 30,001-100,000 residents, 100,000+ residents). Cities with the highest percentage of residents who take the challenge win. Participants in the winning cities are eligible to win prizes, including a Toyota Prius Hybrid, home water makeover kits, and more. Participants will see real results based on simple actions they can do to save water and energy. Residents will also discover resources in our local area to take their commitment of conservation even further, from regional water and energy resource issues to cost-saving tips at home.

How easily are you distracted from your goal? I have a photo shoot with BSN in a few months so I am starting to go tanning now to have a bit of color. It takes me forever to tan so I like to space it out A LOT so I don't burn.
Actually, on a side note, the tanning place has a radio in each booth and you can choose from their playlists. Of course I chose 90s and in order to hear the radio over the fan in the booth you have to blast it really loud. So although I started tanning listening to a song I liked, the second song that came on I had no control over and let's just say it wasn't my best moment. lol
Anyways, when I came out from tanning all I could smell was a delicious burrito the staff was eating at the front desk. Being that I was on my way home from the gym, the whole ride to the tanning place I was really hungry and was imagining myself eating a protein shake, bagel/peanutbutter and some yogurt/fruit/granola to finish off my macros. But as soon as I smelled that delicious burrito, the thought of just eating EVERYTHING I could find started to take over.
I tried to pin it on Erica. I was like "Babe, do YOU want to go get some chips and dip?" haha
But in the end I was able to fight it, get home, and eat what I needed to finish my macros for the night.
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with some chips and dips, but sometimes its about more than that. I set a goal in my head when I left the gym of what I was specifically going to do and no matter how small a goal is, you need to accomplish it.
Did you accomplish any of your small goals yesterday? Don't give in to temptation Nation! I believe in you!
