The Bay Terrace Country Club, located in Northeast Queens, is a privately owned cooperative pool club overlooking beautiful Little Neck Bay.
In addition to a beautiful Olympic sized swimming pool with a sun deck, overlooking the Bayside Marina, the Club boasts a full service Café, operated by Fiesta Foods; a children's playground; arts and crafts; paddle ball, paddle tennis and basketball courts as well as shady, spacious lawn areas. There are various adult and children's activities for fun and fitness. Our Swim Program is based on the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program and all instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. We offer children’s’ group lessons and private lessons for all ages.
The pool is opened daily May through September and features a separate interactive kiddie pool. The main pool, one of the largest in Queens, with depths ranging from 3 feet to 8 feet includes a handicapped accessible ramp, lap lanes, two water slides and plenty of open swim areas. Other amenities include onsite parking, men’s & ladies locker rooms with showers, a family changing room, sun decks, lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

Well folks here is our little free boat and trailer. It had a flat plywood and glass windshield we removed and made a new one, cut out of some nice cherry wood they were tossing on a jobsite. We reset the 1/4 inch tempered glass and mounted the hand operated windshield wipers. The new top we will mount by the this weekend. So far all recycled and free, were going crabbing over to Florence in about three weeks.

Sligo Rovers 11-A-Side Astro Turf League Wrap-Up
The Belfry have claimed the first piece of silverware on offer in the Sligo Rovers 11-A-Side Astro Turf League as they defeated the P.S.O. 3-2 last Friday night in the McCullagh Carpentry Divison Two Final. Keith Feeney, Kevin Egan and David Adams scored for the Belfry with Nigel Hargadon and Darren Dunbar scoring for the P.S.O.
The Belfry were the favourites going into the game but it was the P.S.O. who took the lead after 5 minutes. Trevor Sweeney was brought down inside the box and a penalty was awarded which was the P.S.O.'s third spot kick in four games. As with the previous efforts, Hargadon took it and made no mistake as he slotted past Belfry keeper Danny O'Leary. On the quarter hour mark though they were reduced to ten as Mark Tuohy received a straight red card for a challenge on the Belfry's Bart Folan. The Belfry quickly stepped up the pressure looking to push home their numerical advantage with Neal Hayes goig close as he had a header that came back off the post. Three minutes before half-time and they did draw level. Cathal Leggett played in Feeney who scored with a beautifully weighted lob that gave P.S.O. keeper David Finan no chance.
P.S.O. rallied at the start of the second half and really put the Belfry on the backfoot and retook the lead through a peach of a free kick from Darren Dunbar that left O'Leary standing. Midway through the half and the sides were level again. An intricate passing move from the Belfry saw John Nicholson find Adams who slid the ball across for Egan to shoot home. The Belfry now looked the most likely to get a winner with Adams going close with a shot from 25 yards that rattled the crossbar. With ten minutes to go he got what proved to be the winner. Hayes with a cross and Adams stole in at the back post to slot home. Hargadon did go close to getting an equaliser but the Belfry saw out the game for a deserved win.
