Good Moring all,
Team Fga started the defence of its title on 7th April 2013 at 3pm.With good weather, the game when on with the passion and vigour that was expected. Both teams had a fair share of possession, from a throw in and a defensive lapse PPCC stole the ball from the left side and scored 1-0 PPCC.
The score remind until half time. Changes were made on both side and there was more attacking Flair from both teams the score line remain unchanged with about 10 minutes remaining FGA scored from a free kick, Game on by that time FGA was down to 10 men following a red card to Team Captain for a trip, with 5 minutes left and 3 defensives lapses we gave away 3 goals.
Game ended PPCC 4-1 FGA. a well played game with flair and commitment and professional on both sides.

Red Devil softball goes 1-1 at home against Dodge City

Allen Community College’s Red Devils came up with another split in a Jayhawk Eastern Division doubleheader at home Saturday.
The Red Devils wrapped up a 3-1 win over visiting Dodge City Community College in Saturday’s opener. But Dodge City rolled to a 10-2 victory in the second game that only went six innings.
The second split of a conference doubleheader in a row put the Red Devils at 5-11 in Jayhawk East play and 5-15 in Region VI, Division action. Allen stands at 5-20 overall.
Allen goes Kansas City Community College to play a conference twin bill on Tuesday in Kansas City, Kan. The first game is at 2 p.m.
The Red Devils host Cottey College Wednesday in a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch is at 2 p.m.
Against Dodge City, the Red Devils made the Lady Conquistadors pay for a couple of passed balls. Taylor Easum singled and advanced to second base on a passed ball. Kaitlin Norris singled then stole second base.
Easum scored on a passed ball. With one out, Rash’s sacrifice fly drove in a run.
Dodge City used three singles to score a run in the third. Allen got the run back in the fourth inning.
Paige Rothwell doubled with one gone followed by Maecy Charleston drawing a walk. A ground-out moved the runners up. Another passed ball allowed Rothwell to cross home plate.
Audra Nelson picked up the pitching win for the Red Devils, scattering seven hits across the seven innings. She walked one and struck out six.
Rothwell and Annie Gentry each doubled for the Red Devils. Hitting a single each were Easum, Norris and Kaitlyn Rash.
The Lady Conqs broke open the second game with four runs in the second inning to take a 5-0 lead. Allen got single runs in the second and third innings but that was it. Dodge City plated five more runs in the fourth, three came on a home run by Amanda Best.
Allen scored in the second inning when Charleston doubled and scored on a single by Kaylee Lucas. Rash was hit by a pitch with two gone in the third inning. Rothwell connected for an RBI double.
Easum, Rothwell and Charleston each hit a double. Mary Reilly, Rash and Lucas each had a single.
Nelson took the pitching loss. She worked two innings allowing five runs on five hits and two walks. Rash pitched three innings, giving up five runs on three hits and two walks plus struck out one batter.
