We are sorry to hear about the passing of Annette Funicello, former Mouseketeer and television- and movie-actress, who died today at the age of 70 from complications due to multiple sclerosis, which she battled for more than 25 years. She founded the Annette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases to help fund research regarding MS and other neurological conditions. Were you a fan of Annette as a Mouseketeer? Or perhaps when she played opposite Frankie Avalon in “Beach Blanket Bingo” and other 1960s beach movies?
