After I moved home from the city, I was sleepin' when I started to notice things in my sleep. Sort of an out-of-body experience ... usually, I go to sleep way late at night, like around 2 or 3 am, because I am always on FB, LoL, ain't gonna lie ... anyway, I am the last to go to bed, and during the winter I keep the fire goin' by addin' firewood & coal throughout the night. Well this happened to be about in the mid-spring, on a full moon night ... I remember clearly there was no snow or rain & there was not a cloud in the sky, cuz the mooning was shining brightly ... My bedroom is being renovated, so i sleep in the living part, which is part of my old bedroom, took out 1 entire wall & made an extra large living room. Anyways, that wall has a temporary wall in place w/2 particle boards w/an open doorway. Well, that 1 particular late nite, I went to sleep ... it was a restless sleep, I couldn't fall asleep right away, no matter how tired I was ... the other strange thing was that the dogs were barking like crazy ... I figured they were either barking at horses or cattle that came by looking for water ... I finally feel asleep & i sorted started to dream, when I realized I was hovering above my body, watching myself sleeping ... I made my way to the window, the only window in the living room, which is on the east wall. I noticed that something or somebody was hunched in the corner ... i say corner, b/c our house has 2 bedrooms that were added on, so i created a sort of caddy corner ... I knew it was a guy, by the way he was moving ... I freaked out badly in my sleep, that I literally jumped up in a sitting position & i sooo happened to look at the window ... man, did I freak out ... the curtain in the corner was not fully closed, that when I looked I noticed a face peeking into the corner. I freaked out, and somehow this person or creature noticed I was awake & was lookin' at him directly ... he sensed I was scared cuz he continued to stare at me for another minute or so. I grabbed my fire poker that was made by my mother & prayed & blessed, that I was shaking holding it, i started to pray silently to myself. For some strange reason, this person/creature knew I started praying, he backed off moving backwards & turned & run off into the night. To this night, I sleep w/my fire poker in easy reach along w/my flashlight, just in case.

Also, I'm looking for somewhere to settle down; it needs to be warm most of the year but with definable seasons, it should have spontaneous, friendly people who like to dance and party but who also read a lot and respect equal human rights, somewhere that's cheap to live and where I can make good money without working too hard (or at all), it should be next to the sea with mountains close by, small enough to walk around but with a really active cultural scene, where the language is easy to learn and they all speak english anyway...yes, i think that about covers it - suggestions?

Hi. I am a 13 year old girl and Id like to remain anonymous if you dont mind. This story isnt nearly as depressing ir severe as others but id like to share it.At four years old i was diagnosed with type one diabetes. My life was soon complicated with needles, monthly check ups, now having to carry a little backpack around, with what is called a finger poker/ glucose meter, along with something sugary in case i start to not feel well, in case my blood sugar goes low. For those of you who dont know, diabetes is something uncurable. Its when the pancreas stops working, stops producing a body fluid called insulin which balances out the amout of sugar in your blood. Type one diabetics need to take needles of insulin or use an insulin pumo and always always be careful. So as im growing up, ive heard people/kids say "i wish i had diabetes because then i can eat in class" or " she always gets to eat sugary things!". It went from thise sayings to "she thinks she can get attention from her diabetes" and "she thinks shes so cool because she has diabetes". They teased me, they pushed me and lots of other things. Then, to complicate things more, when i was 8 i was diagnosed with Celiac. Celiac is like an allergy, although not a severe one. Im not allowed to eat wheat, barley, malt ect or anything with those in them. At first it was very hard to find food but its gotton better over the years. I used to not be able to eat anything, im always the girl who has to say no when people pass out cookies and they only have regular hot dog buns at the fair or amusment parks.
Now, ive started to eat regualr things instead of wheat free and get pounding headaches, stomach aches and sometimes throw up because of them. When i dont eat something im not supposed to, i dont eat at all. I may be anorexic. My grandfather died in the summer of 2012 and if youve ever lost someone that means so much to you that it hurts to even think about them upset let alone dead, then you would know howi feel. When he died, it drove a giant wedge between me, my dad and the rest of my family. We had to sell all his things and even his truck. i loved that truck so much and my heart broke again when we sold it.Since then ive been to one other funeral, in february and broke, even though he died 5 monthes ago. My dad hugged me and tried to make me feel better, which made me feel worse because he was crying too. It was his dad that died, my grandpa, 5 monthes before. That was the closest we had been for monthes. After that i pushed everyone away again. Every night i would and still do lock myself in my room and do nothing. Sit in the dark and think, write depressing poems, think depressing thoughts. My mom has no clue whats going on and yells at me often for nothing, or something my sister did. My dad is gone for 3 weeks because of some training thing for his new job, something hes done many times before. When hes home, he yells and screams alot too. At school, its awful. there are these biys that spread rumors about me, a new one every week. they taunt me, whisper about me, make fun of me. theyre so mean.I have a bunch of very supporting friends and i love them so so much. But i cut. Alot. I have scars on my wrists and forarms, my hands. Im often alone or on long walks and always always have my headphones in.
My best guy friend is having suicidal thoughts as well as one of my older best girl friends, aka my "sister". She always says how she wants to die and how shes so fat. He says its his fault his sister went on drugs and drinking and sneaking out. I think alot about how even if i get through all this, whats it worth? So ill be happy for a while. Once we get through highschool, we get a job, do the same thing every day, wake up the same time and repeat. So tell me, what really IS the point of life?
