Okay Bioshock Infinite, we're friends again. After the 'checkpoint falling out', you pull THAT for a final 30 mins; original, thought provoking, completely rewriting the contextual colour of the experience, making a replay somewhat essential. Ok well due to me finishing Bioshock Infinite and come my next paycheck Thursday, I will be starting my Lets play channel and the first games ill be playing is Brutal Legend, Bioshock 1-Infinite, and the Mass Effect series given if they put Mass effect 3 back on steam, plus any other game I feel like needs the LP treatment. so Bioshock once again brings us a fantastic game! having just completed the game I can say with no doubt that it deserved every award lauded upon it. so Mattheu Steele Daniels and Aaron Carr you should go get this game!

There are a few differences from the first 2 bioshocks that i shall try to point out some good, others not-so-great-but-understandable the first being the fact you can carry only 2 of the 16(ish) weapon types at any time much like the other modern shooters (COD, Etc.) each of these have 4 upgrades that you can purchase for money and you keep regardless of the weapons you are carrying at the time; each however, has been made to pack a real punch (or at least the shotgun and sniper rifle did) . Second there are only 8 attack powers (called Vigors) all of which have been tooled to be each a force of destruction. The passive effects (formerly called tonics) are now given to you via equipment in four slots (Hat, Shirt, Pants & Boots). You are given a recharging shield bar that can be upgraded like your heath or "salt" this is done well and doesn't break immersion and seems to fit in well with the world around you. Lastly the sky-way, a set of rails that you early on learn to traverse give a fast paced roller coaster type feel to some combats and add a new tactical level to them as well.

oh ya and Booker has a voice and uses it regularly... it really helps you get into his character instead of the mute wall of meat you play in the first two games

the story is extremely well written with plenty of the twists and turns that the series is known for and all the main characters are colourful and memorable. The ending is well written and also extremely rewarding to those who have an interest in physics or philosophy (as those not well versed in either of these may catch on to what's happening much later)

The achievements are your standard: complete major story arcs, kill (x) dudes in (y) way, collect everything and a couple high difficulty challenges to wrap it up

my play through (on Normal) clocked in at around 10 hours making this an above average campaign length... but worth every second

TLDR:
My Score 9.5/10, I still miss carrying an impractical arsenal of guns each with multiple ammo types but i think that this game is still nearly perfect regardless...
