Good morning my dear heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus I approach Your throne of grace to pray. Thank You for giving me Jesus! Lord, I find it interesting how time can change my attitude. Once upon a time I became angry when someone tried to declare that everything is here because of evolution. Today, I laugh.

Let Your Word declare the truth over the “creation versus evolution” debate. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2)

How can intelligent people have absolutely no faith in Your Word? Creation is Your science! If someone told Alexander Graham Bell, after he invented the telephone, “Al, fax a copy of your invention to the patent office before someone copies it,” he would not have understood because the fax machine had not yet been invented. As time goes on, so does our technological achievements. However, we can only learn what You, oh Lord, allow us to learn.

Lord, I put my faith in Your creation, and no man, using science, will ever be able to disprove Scripture! Your Word says: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:1, 14)

I pray Your Holy Spirit will convict the hearts of the unbelievers. The last thing they want is to find themselves standing before their Creator in judgment, facing their eternal final destiny saying, “Oops!” Life is not a game, and eternity is a long time. In the precious and holy name of Jesus I come to You, I pray to You, amen.

No one served as a greater type of Christ in the Old Testament than David. He was a man after God’s own heart (1 Sam. 13:14). His reign was one of unity and prosperity for the people of Israel, as God crushed David’s enemies under his feet. He was the figure the prophets used to describe the future king who would deliver Israel in the last days. The prophets did not simply claim that God would raise a king like David, but that He would raise David himself (Jeremiah 30:9; Ezekiel 34:23-24)! Isaiah pictured the new David reigning wisely and victoriously, striking the earth with the rod of his mouth (Isaiah 11:1-4). Amos pictured David’s reign as a time of renewal, rebuilding, and restoration (Amos 9:11-15). David was the ideal king in the Old Testament, thus serving as the perfect type for King Jesus. If Jews in the ancient world wanted to know what the Messiah would be like, they needed only to study the life of David. It appears, however, they missed a piece in their studies.

The Jews failed to consider that David was a suffering king. Often when we think of passages that portray Jesus as a suffering Messiah, we limit our thinking to Isaiah 53. When we do that, we miss a wealth of texts in the writings of David that foreshadow Jesus as a suffering King. Such texts are found in the psalms. Though the word “psalms” means “praises” in Hebrew, the majority are laments! David endured a great deal of suffering before and throughout his kingship! “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1a). “They divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.” (Psalm 22:18). “They wag the head, saying, ‘Commit yourself to the LORD; let Him deliver Him.’” (Psalm 22:7b-8). “I looked for sympathy, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none. They also gave me gall for my food and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.” (Psalm 69:21). “Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heal against me.” (Psalm 41:9).

The above passages are quoted in connection with Jesus in the New Testament. If the Jews would have understood that the future Messiah would not only share in David’s glory, but also in his sufferings, Jesus would not have been such a stumbling block. Furthermore, they would have learned a marvelous principle: suffering comes before glory. When David was anointed by Samuel, he did not immediately inherit the throne. First, he suffered greatly at the hands of Saul, betrayed by the one he was trying to help. He was hunted like game, his life in constant danger. For Jesus too, it would be suffering first, then glory; exactly what the Law, Prophets, and Psalms taught about Him (Luke 24:25-27,44).

I made a list of the best (Male) toilets at Uni based on peacefulness and cleanliness in my opinion.

1. Lvl 6 or above Napier building. The views are amazing in the cubicle with the window. Usually quiet as there are no classes (I think) on this floor and the whole floor is for postgrads and staff (might be wrong again) so it is often very clean and peaceful. Be careful and check for toilet paper availability if you come here.
2. Lvl 4 Engineering Maths building. No one comes up here often and the toilets are clean.
3. Lvl 5 Inkgarni Waldi / Innova. It's an office floor with hardly any students. Peaceful and quiet and really clean. Staff from that floor usually goes in so that peacefulness may vary time to time.
4. The toilets next to Backstage Cafe/ New grassroots/ near the music place next to Shultz and Scott Theatre. This is conditional because after 5pm, no one usually comes here and it is super peaceful. Sometimes clean.
5. Darlington East/West. There are times where the place is empty because there aren't any pracs. on. So during then, it is peaceful and quiet. It is often clean too.

From what I've heard, there is a toilet at the bottom of Union House that is good. But I've never checked that one out and seen it from myself.

There are other toilets around uni that are usually good. I hope that you can use this information when you really got to go on campus. Otherwise, try and hold it in until you get home.

Oh and worst male toilets is the one on Lvl 3 Hub. It stinks, usually not clean and not peaceful at all. I stay away from this one at all cost and never taken a dump here. Ew.
