That news reporter on telly is a fukin comedian . Reporting on the jockey that won the Grand Nation yesterday , today he had to be air lifted to hospital after the horse he was riding fell . Outside the hospital she confirmed the jockey was in a STABLE condition . Had to laugh .

No matter what contributions we recognize as made to the history of the human race there is no social construct throughout all of known history in which we can note that everyone, or even the vast majority, of inhabitants (or what we would modernly call citizens) were well off healthy and educated relative to the degree of education and wealth and standard of life that the society is known for. So if we are to gauge the grandeur and degree of development of any contemporary society we must examine the distribution of resources amongst the population relative to a standard deviation of the mean and historical presidencies.

It is here it is here that America greatly falls short. For if we were indeed the greatest nation in the world wouldn't we somehow have found a way to do better than all the models which came before us? Admittedly this line of argument assumes that it is possible to live in and create a society wherein even as you approach the bottom "classes" people are still better off than things like poverty disease and ignorance. But shouldn't any assessment of a society which points out the "wrongs" be extremely optimistic in the creation of the "rights"? For human history also shows us that in our loftiest of ambitions, most noble and true, we always fall just a bit short.

We have a prayer request from Brother Still Waters for some family members. First of all he recieved a true blessings the other day, his daughter who he hadnt seen in many years called him , and then brought his grandchildren over for a visit. This brought great joy to our brothers heart as you can imagine.

But the visit was bitter sweet as he got to meet his grandson who is in the grip of leukemia . So he is asking for prayers in general for the health and well being of the whole family, but special smoke and prayers for Cooper Sasser , his grandson, age 3 , for his complete and pain free healing !!!

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) defended President Barack Obama at a Phoenix town hall Wednesday when a constituent asked him why Congress had not impeached the president.
