MOST UNDERATED GIFTED RAPPERS IN ZAMBIA BY THE MEDIA.
I have made a list of Rappers that are not famous but are great emcees .Before that first let me explain a few.
Some artists are not given airplay they deserve due to average Real Hip Hop Fans. Because of that some Deejays are scared to play them in fear of losing their jobs or in fear of becoming unpopular.Real Hip Hop Shows fail to have impact on the youths if some artists are not played due to the fact that most people in Zambia are not that deep into Hip Hop.Thats why they prefer to request for songs that have Dance,Raggae tone,Kalindula and other genres .I wouldn’t like to give a local example so I will use an international one. People will request for Flo Rida’s “I Cry” than Lupe Fiaso’s Around my Way [Freedom ain’t free] which are conscious songs but Flo Ridas is dance oriented whereas Lupe’s is strictly a Rap song.Even Newspapers want to feature artists that will make their paper to fail.It hurts to say this I partially blame us the fans .Even on this Page I think the most talked about Rappers ever since opened it are Slap D and Macky 2 I won’t hide that from my fellow admins.
From the song "Moment of Clarity" Jay-Z rapped "If skills sold, truth be told/I'd probably be, lyrically, Talib Kweli" .Talib Kwali then replied by stating "If lyrics sold then truth be told/I'd probably be just as rich and famous as Jay Z." I Admin K.O Starring says “Truth be told/ if lyrics sold/ then the following emcees could have been famous like Macky 2 amd Slap D”. [Am not saying Slap D and Macky 2 are not Hip Hop or don’t deserve their popularity but I feel some artists deserve that popularity too]. The list is as follows with no particular order
